I had originally decided to just have an accent wall in the bathroom.  After Chris completed that wall a few weeks ago, I realized that I needed to paper all the walls.  I ordered more wallpaper and Chris was able to work me into his schedule sooner than expected.

Chris does quality work, he is neat and clean and the papering is beautiful.  The paper added that extra touch that had been missing.

If you want great looking wallpapering with great seams and no bubbles, Whalen Wallpapering is your go to person.  If I do any more wallpapering, Chris will be the one that I call.

Chris came to our home to provide a free quote for the cost of his services soon after I first contacted him.  I got a quote from one other paper hanger who was $20 more expensive than Chris' quote.  Once all of our wallpaper came in, Chris and his dad were able to come right away.  They both were very professional, fast, and did an AMAZING job hanging our wallpaper.  When we first decided to put wallpaper in our foyer, my husband and I thought we would hang the paper ourselves.  I'm so glad we didn't even attempt to do so because there's no way we could've done as great a job as they did.  They were even able to hang paper in a space of about 1/4-1/2" width (space between outside of door frame and adjacent wall).  All in all, they did an outstanding job and I would definitely recommend them!

Stan did the wall prep during one half-day, and then he hung the paper on the next day.

We are well pleased with the service and professionalism shown by Chris and his dad, Stan. Chris worked with us to arrange appropriate scheduling and his dad did the actual work. Stan said that Chris is the fourth generation of Whalen paperhangers. It is really hard today to find true craftsmen who take their work seriously and we are delighted to have found the Whalens. We do not hesitate to recommend them and plan to use them again in the future.

Due to poor planning on our part, we searched Angie's List furiously for a wallpaper hanger. We were having a party of 60 people and had 4 days to get the paper ordered and hung. Chris was awesome. I had to measure the wall and send him a picture so he could tell me how much to order. The paper was ordered on a Monday and supposed to be delivered in time for a Thursday morning install. The paper never arrived. I had to call Chris and break the news and ask if he could come later in the day. He was so nice and accommodating and was able to move some things around to get our job done. Once here he was neat and professional and did an excellent job. We were very pleased. We will definitely use this company again in the future.

From the estimate to the completion of the work, Chris was responsive and professional.  We were very impressed with the quality of the work and amount of time it took to complete.  It really changed the feel the entry of our house.  We will use again and would high recommend them to anyone looking from someone to do wallpaper! I had been trying to find a wallpaper hanger in Cincinnati for months.  The couple recommendations I had fell through, so I took to Angie's list and called Whalen Paperhanging on a whim.  Chris and his father were very responsive and professional.  I called them on a Sunday and by that Tuesday afternoon, my job was complete.  They were friendly, well priced, and fast.  I would definitely use them again.  My bathroom is finally complete and I love it.

We contacted Whalen Paperhanging and within three days Stan was at our house to look over the project so that a bid could be prepared. A bid was ready within the week. We have used Whalen Paperhanging for over 20 years. With each job, we have been extremely pleased with the promptness and quality of professionalism exhibited by Stan and his son Chris, while completing a job. The wallpaper that was hung, over twenty years ago, was in the same pristine condition when it was removed during this job.  None had pulled away from the wall and the walls were in excellent condition after the removal of wallpaper. The colors of the paint that we have chosen for this new job have been matched to perfection! They are prompt to the job and stay on target during completion. This was a relatively big job, but Stan and his crew did an expert job. Obviously professionals who were able to do everything required, from moving the furniture to making sure the jobsite was cleaned and vacuumed afterwards. The paint and wallpaper work they did was superb.
