This job consisted of prepping and painting the woodwork and steeple of a large church. Some wood repair was needed and completed on the steeple. All in all an excellent job and materials. Company also cooperated with church agents to schedule around planned church activities. Excellent clean up during and after work was completed.

The result was excellent, the cost was very fair and as quoted. The team of Nick and Dan are great to work with and very professional. They always cleaned up and kept us informed of the status and timeline. We will definitely hire them again.

Came out and appeared to be very detailed in their assessment and pointed out additional work that could be done, then never sent over their quote. I asked several times via message and phone call and was told it was coming, and it never did. I wanted to give them my money, waited for their estimate, and got behind in my scheduling because by the time I gave up my second choice had booked other work and couldn't get to me as quickly. If you don't want to do the work, just tell me so I can make other arrangements.

Tri State Painting is a superior company. We have hired them for 3 projects at our home over the past 7 years. Many years ago I interviewed and received estimates from 4 companies, and Tri State was, and still is, the very best. Since 2013 they have painted the entire interior of our home, the exterior, and just recently painted the deck, did drywall repair, remodeled our half bath, beautifully painted laundry room cabinets and installed laminate flooring. Chris Kash and his team are amazing to work with. They are very detailed oriented and professional. He and his team were always on time, on schedule, and stayed on budget. Chris is very easy to communicate with and has made great recommendations with excellent results! I would highly recommend Tri State Painting. There is no other painting company I would trust more with the care of our home. In fact, we are in the process of buying a new home and are looking forward to working with them on a new project!!

Owner Chris was very responsive to my initial request on Angie’s List and throughout the 3 day project. The crew Nick, Dan, and Chris were punctual, efficient, professional, courteous and could not have asked for a better team! I was working on a separate project and Nick even loaned me his mitre saw to help me!! I could not give these guys and Tri State Painting a high enough recommendation. Just excellent.

If you are looking for a professional company that does an excellent job of painting as well as being very conscious of things like cracks, uneven walls, calking issues, nail pops, nail holes, things that if you merely painted over would still look bad, then this is your company to hire. My house looks better now then it did 12 years ago when we built it. They did a beautiful job and well as great clean up from painting and sanding. This IS the company for you! Can't tell you how happy we are!

Tristate gave me an estimate in 10/2017 for exterior painting. I told TriState that I wanted them to do the exterior painting. I was told I would be at the top of the list in the spring 2018. I have made multiple phone contacts, left VM messages and sent email messages requesting information about when the painting would be performed. Once I was able to speak with someone in the office ( in the Spring 2018) who informed me that we were near the top of the list and TriState would contact us when we were next party to receive their painting services. No call no email messages. Finally in late July I requested that they inform me whether or not they would be able to perform our painting so I could engage another painter if they could not do the work. No call back and no email from Tristate. I finally engaged another painting contractor. TriState never performed any work and did not respond in a professional manner. I am extremely disappointed.

From the estimate to completion of the job the experience was wonderful will highly recommend and use this company again

The painting went well with Chris doing everything as I had stated. He gave me choices on hardware shapes, and finishes. He was always polite and personable and knows the job well. He explained each step to be done. Chris is easy to like and gains your trust very soon. I will call him again for my painting needs.

I contacted this company on 8/1/18 requesting a quote to paint six shutters and front door. Chris emailed me approximately an hour later asking for pictures so that he can provide and estimate. I email pictures that same night but didn't receive an estimate. I sent an email on 8/7/18 asking for an update and still no response. I guess he is not interested in the job. I'm okay with that just be professional and follow up.

Chris and his team were super thorough when they painted my home. They took extra time to ensure that 13 years of warping/shifting from our house settling was hardly noticeable. They say that painting is far more about preparation than the actual painting, and these guys do an awesome job with the prep.

I did not end up hiring. I tried to hire them after they came out and quoted the job, but with his typical response time of 10+ days, and no one ever answers the phone, or replies to voicemails. I asked multiple times for them to give me a date they could come out and do the painting, and no one ever got back to me.

I could not be happier with the work performed by Tri State Painting! Chris, Nick and the team were very professional and friendly! Their work is top-notch quality. They painted our entire home inside and out, and it looks beautiful! Our kitchen cabinets turned out amazing! They had great attitudes the whole project which was quite lengthy - even when I changed my mind on the island cabinet color from dark blue to white! We had hardwood floors installed prior to the painting project, and Chris and the team were very careful not to damage the floors. They even watched over other workers coming in and out of our home helping to ensure the floors and walls were not damaged. They were great cleaning up after work was performed each day also. I would absolutely hire them again!

Left numerous messages with no call back. After leaving additional messages I finally got a call back from a woman that inquired about what I needed done. We set up an appointment which nobody showed up for. I think Angie's List can be a blessing and a curse for some businesses because some business get so busy due to Angie's List that customer service and common courtesy gets lost somewhere along the way which I think is the case for this company. I would have much more respect for a business if they would tell me they were too busy to get to me in a timely manner than to just blow me off as a customer. Some customers are willing to wait for the best but if they handle these situations like Tri State Painting did it will catch up with them eventually.

Removed wallpaper in Family Room that had been applied directly to the drywall. The team was able to remove the wallpaper much quicker and easier than we expected. Fantastic job patching the Family Room and Kitchen (which previously had wallpaper removed). Great job priming wallpapered walls and painting ceilings and walls in both rooms. Estimated for time and cost was right on target. Great job with cover-up and clean-up. Team always on time. Communication can be a bit challenging. Scheduler was difficult to reach and calls to office generally required leaving message on voicemail. Highly recomended for the work performed...especially for wallpaper removal and drywall patching. We will be using them again for future projects.

Very well. There were 2-3 painters every day for four days to complete the work needed. They were all skilled painters and very neat. Everything looks great! The work done on the family room ceiling required removal of the existing textured surface and capping off a recessed light fixture prior to priming and painting and those tasks were performed well also.

What we anticipated the project taking a good two days to complete, was done, and done well, in one day by one person, Nick. He was prompt, professional, and particular with his attention to detail. We are very pleased with the completed work and clean up.

It went very well. One of the 2 painters didn't show up, but the owner actually came out in their place and they still put in the time/effort. Would definitely recommend.

They got started a day later then was scheduled but this communicated well before. Although, we tried to stay out of their way it is tough to quell the curiosity of toddlers and the employees were very accommodating of that fact and were awesome with my girls. Everything turned out very well. Very trustworthy. 100% would recommend.

The crew was very professional and nice to be around. They arrived on time and finished early. There was a follow up to ensure that we were happy with their work. I would definitely hire them again.
