Peru's Tree Service

DO NOT USE - They stole $250 and will not return my calls. I paid $850 to remove the tree ($600) and stump ($250). They "forget" to have the area checked for underground power lines and did not remove the stump. A few days later, we realized the stump could not be removed and agreed not to do that part of the service. I paid Peru the full amount when they did the initial service. Jesus refuses to answer my calls or call me back.

Job was well done, pricing was fair would recommend.

Service performed on March 2 & 3, 2021. Jesus quoted for taking all trees with him, but he left a HUGE amount of trees in neighbor's yard. And now in order to return, he's requiring more $$. This after he damaged our irrigation system, and I didn't ask for him to repair OR take money off. As well, dog fence is broken. Bad business right there

My trees needed a “haircut” and pruning. The crew arrived and performed the work needed in a reasonable amount of time. I was happy they did not rush. They were very careful every step of the way, took away all the debris and cleaned up everything nicely! Everything went as expected and I will call Jesus back when I need additional work in the future.

Excellent! Antonio and his crew were prompt and professional. They used clean and modern equipment and took great care to do as little damage as possible to the lawn. Antonio is a master at mentally planning how to take down a tree and then execute that plan efficiently and with minimal harm to the lawn. Once finished, they cleaned-up completely. And all for a very reasonable price.

It was great. The cost was half of another bid we got and done sooner. They were quick and efficient, listened to my husband's questions and concerns, and even gave suggestions about the landscaping.

Crew showed up first thing in the morning on a Saturday to start the project and were all very friendly. We had one dead tree near our fence that would require some maneuvering to take down but they did a nice job doing so without any damage. They did remove part of our privacy fence in order to get the stump grinder to the back and haul large pieces of the tree away and did a nice job doing so without any damage. Biggest issues on this job were that apparently two of the stumps had metal in them and did not allow removal of the stump, which is obviously tough to swallow when you pay as much as you do for this service but I understand there isn't anything they can do without the proper equipment. Other issue was that my neighbor's driveway got extremely dirty during the process when we were told they would put boards down to prevent this. While the property next door is run down and currently being renovated, it still should be treated with care.

We used Peru's Tree Service one time at our first home and were pleased with their service. Then when we moved to our 2nd home we called them again for service. Peru's Tree Service told us that they no longer service the west side of Cincinnati and told me to call Jeremiah Woster with Grassroots Tree Service. I called him and he came out to do the work. Jeremiah was cutting down the last tree when he found a live bee hive at the top of the tree. Jeremiah said he would come back that fall and cut the rest down. He noted the invoice because we paid him in full already. When we contacted him that fall he never came back out to finish cutting the tree down. I complained with the BBB and they couldn't reach him. I also filed a complaint with the Attorney General and they had no luck reaching him either. During this situation I called Peru's Tree Service. They answered the phone one time and I was hung up on. Then I left several messages hoping they could reach out to Grassroots but I never received a call back. I called both (513) 554-1403 and (513) 461-4472 with Peru's Tree Service. DO NOT USE PERU'S TREE SERVICE OR GRASSROOTS TREE SERVICE.

Jesus always responded in a timely manor. They were able to get me in sooner than expected. The guys that came to cut down and remove the tree did a great job. They made sure to remove all debris and cleaned up the area nicely. I would highly recommend this company to everyone! Job well done!!

Great. I received a reply the same day I contacted Jesus, although phone tag took another day. He came right out, looked at the job, gave an estimate and said it might be a couple weeks, which was ok by me. We were in no rush and had several other contractors we were working with for upkeep/repairs on the house. H called the next day I believe and said he would be out the next afternoon. I was not home at the time of the work, but my husband was very impressed with the work/professionalism of the crew. We did not need haul away. I choose not to give my address!!!
