We spent several months shopping granite countertop providers and found that Modlich had a reasonable selection of stone at a very good price. (We found some providers quoting as much as double the price for the same type of stone.) There was a small glitch in installation when the sink cutout was about 0.5" different that the previous countertop, causing us to have to modify the vent piping underneath the sink. Modlich readily agreed to deduct from the final payment the $30 spent on materials to modify the vent. (We did the plumbing work ourselves for the change out.) The sales process (Tony Moore was very knowledgable and returned calls quickly) as well as the measurement and installation (technicians out of Columbus) were all handled professionally and to our complete satisfaction. Scheduling of the work was within a couple of weeks, unlike many installers who quoted us much longer waits.

MODLICH WAS UNBELIEVABLY PROFESSIONAL. THEY CAME AS SCHEDULED FOR THE MEASURING, CALLING 2 DAYS BEFORE TO ENSURE OUR CONTRACTOR WOULD BE PRESENT. THEY NOTIFIED US A WEEK BEFORE THE INSTALLATION, AGAIN TO MAKE SURE THE CONTRACTOR WOULD BE PRESENT. THE GRANITE WAS READY EXACTLY AS THEY HAD ESTIMATED. THE INSTALLATION OF OVER 550 SQ, FT OF GRANITE WAS COMPLETED IN ONE MORNING WITH NO GRINDING AT THE RESIDENCE. WE WERE OVERWHELMED.

MODLICH DID THIS INSTALLATION IN CONJUNCTION WITH SOME OTHER KITCHEN REMODELING WHICH WE HAD DONE. THEIR WORK WAS INTEGRATED FLAWLESSLY WITH THE OTHER SUB CONTRACTORS THAT WERE DOING CABINET AND WALL TILE WORK.

TONY MOORE WAS WONDERFUL. HE MADE SURE THE WORK WAS EXACTLY AS IT SHOULD BE. HE GAVE US A TEMPORARY GRANITE BACK SPLASH WHEN WE WERE WAITING FOR THE BACK SPLASH TO BE PUT IN. IT IS PERFECT AND WE LOVE IT.
