Description of Work: I used Jim Tipton Jr. Roofing to initially repair a leak in my roof, and then to replace the roof. We had a problem with a leak in our roof, and we had called another roofing company to repair it. They came out and told us that there was nothing they could do short of tearing off and replacing the roof, and they gave us an estimate for $7000. That was not within our budget at that time. I got Jim’s name from my brother in law, and I called him. He came out and said that the problem was with the flashing around the one exhaust pipe up on the roof. He patched it, and it held all winter long. We called him back this spring, and we told him that we were ready to have the roof replaced. He came back with a crew of four guys, and they tore the roof off. They had to replace some of the plywood and then they replaced the roof. They replaced the roof on the top of my porch as well. They also repaired the porch roof which was sinking on one side and rain water was leaking through the shingles and spoiling the wood. They repaired the porch roof without any extra charge over and above the estimate that he had originally given me. He also put gutters and downspouts all around the house without any extra charge.
