Last summer, Fred installed a heat pump in our house to replace a 25 -year-old furnace.  This work was completed in a timely manner.  Fred gave us a lot of advice as we chose which system to purchase.  He helped us make the best decision for our house and budget.  Today, our system went crazy and raised the temperature in our house 20 degrees.  I called Fred and he came by immediately after he finished up a job at another location.  (It's a Friday night.)  He checked the system components and replaced our thermostat, which had been the cause of the problem.  No charge because it is still under warranty. 
We have used Frederick Mechanical  many times over the years for furnace/AC/HVAC and water heater repairs and replacements.  He is always personable and prompt, and I trust him completely.

The company did a good job except we had a few issues during installation. Our new sink would not sit in the groove and some of the counter needed to be cut. Frederick Mechanical does not do this so we were going to have to bring in another contractor. Luckily my dad was here and did the work. They also installed the water line but did not show my husband how to connect it although I had asked about it. The other issue we had was when they tested out the dishwasher they forgot to remove the instructions and energy sticker so we had a mess to clean up after the cycle. Overall they did a good job and came the next day after I called. They were friendly and were willing to assist in any way. We have not received our bill yet so I am unsure of the price.

The price included all of the parts, labor, and water heater. I had a problem a few years ago, and I used our home warranty company. It was a disaster! I called Frederick Mechanical to come and fix what they had done wrong. He also found a gas leak in our house. He was very honest. He let me know up front what the costs would be. He gave me options. He layed everything out, and didn't keep any secrets. I had other people come out prior to him, check things out, and they didn't find the gas leak. I even called the gas company to come out and verify that it really was a gas leak. We have used them atleast 6 times. For some things it might cost a little more, but I trust his service and know it is getting fixed right.
