DEGEORGE CEILINGS

Two of the installers were excellent. They were mistified as to what the first 2 had done or were doing. They showed up 2 days ahead of sched. (which we were glad to see) to bring materials to the basement. When the main installer showed, he was amazed at how little installation the first two had actually done. He made it right and we were amazed at how much he had done. They were not very responsive to return. It was days and wks before they would come back and then it took them awhile to complete the job. Although I wasn't in any hurry to get it done, it was frustrating never knowing when they would show up again.

They were able to complete the job in one day. Would use again and highly recommend!

We had a leak in the upstairs bathroom, which leaked down onto the kitchen ceiling.  The kitchen ceiling was previously installed by DeGeorge in 2002, when we had our kitchen totally remodeled.  To repair our plumbing problem additional ceiling areas need to be removed so the plumber could get to all the areas that he needed to do.  After our plumbing problem was fixed, I contacted DeGeorge to get our kitchen ceiling fixed.  The good news was that the ceiling tile that we previously had installed was still available.  John came out to review the kitchen ceiling.  He was very professional and provided an on the spot quote.  In addition, while he was still there I was able to schedule the work for the same week.  This morning Keith came out to do the job.  Turns out Keith was the same person who originally installed our kitchen ceiling.  He did a great job (again).  Everything matches nicely and he thoroughly cleaned up.

Excellent. Matt showed up with plenty of ceiling samples. He was professional and informative. One sample in particular I had never seen before gives the appearance of a textured or 3-D  look.  We opted for that and couldn't be happier with the results. Chris showed up for the installation. He was punctual and professional. In a short time he transformed our basement from a storage room into a family room. Degeorge gave us the best bid for the job and did it in record time! Thanks.

The installer arrived on time and took half a day to complete the installation of a grid for a drop ceiling in our basement.  It was a small job, so we were pleased that DeGeorge was willing to do the work.  We were able to schedule with them within two weeks of accepting the estimate.  They allowed us to purchase the materials and when we were short a few feet, he was willing to grab a small extra piece from the truck.  We'd absolutely hire them again.  They're very professional and we're very pleased with the work that was done.

From the time I received my quote the installation date was within 2 weeks.  The installation took about 3 hours.  They did a good job.  The room now looks finished.

For the most part job went fine. Inexpensive carpeting install was halted and company was accomodating in upgrading. Company has great pricing. Unfortunately, a carpet seam unraveled the next day after vacuuming, and a service person charged me $100 for the repair. If I was not charged this $100., I would rate them an A.

My overall experience went very well. I liked their punctuality and their professionalism. They got the work done pretty fast as well. I will be using their services in the future too.

We met with a sales rep in our home to discuss our options for repairing/replacing the old suspended ceiling in our kitchen. We were told that the tiles were no longer made for that system. We were shown various tile options for replacing the ceiling and the one we liked best happened to be the most economical. We said we wanted to raise the ceiling up as high as possible while still accommodating recessed lighting cans. We were told how high we could go, ordered the tiles, and set up an appointment for the demo/install. We ordered our new kitchen cabinets based on our new ceiling height. But when men came to install the new ceiling, we were told that it could not go so high. We had already ordered our cabinets and now had to face the fact that they would no longer fit in our new kitchen. We were beside ourselves with frustration and anger and spoke to John, the company president. He not only lowered our price 10% for our inconvenience and time wasted, but he sent his best man who somehow not only installed the ceiling higher, but went above the original maximum height quoted. The work is absolutely gorgeous. Even if we had not remodeled the rest of the kitchen (i.e. new flooring, cabinets, appliances, lighting, paint, window treatments, etc.), it would still be an entirely new and classy room.

He did the repair in one day. He walked on stilts and walked around the room. He came when he said he would be there. I was very happy with the completed job. I would recommend them to anyone. I have used them before.

Steve was absolutely outstanding: diligent, friendly, and professional. He was prompt, extremely neat, and could not have done a more beautiful job. We are more thrilled than we could have imagined, and--after remodeling our entire kitchen--are delighted but surprised to hear most of the positive comments center on our new ceiling. They sent out an estimator who was a nice man, they were very prompt, and good in their work. Everything looks brand new, and they were out of there in just two days. Their cost was reasonable, and exactly as they estimated, I can't say enough good things about them. They were very professional and worked very fast. I wouldn't go to any other ceiling company.

They have a well-defined pricing process. Price is a function of square footage and number of lights that need to be installed. You will get a fair, rational price from this company, I feel confident. Arrived on time. Finished early. Cleaned up afterwards. Ceiling looks great!

We ended up getting a linoleum tile for the whole house. The main living space & bathrooms got an 18 X 18 linoleum tile that looks like a stone floor. Upstairs in the bedroom we got a linoleum tile that came in lengths like wood. We love them. My only problem is that now I have so much floor space it takes a long time to clean. The only thing I would advise you to look for is that the floor is completely clean after installation to include the corners & along the wall before they put the floor sealer on it. I think they could have done a better job on that.

THEY WERE ON TIME, COURTEOUS, DID AN EXCELLENT JOB, AND CAME BACK TO SAND & SMOOTH THE DRYWALL UNTIL IT WAS PERFECT.

OVERALL, WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH DEGEORGE CEILINGS. FROM THE SALES REP WHO CAME TO OUR HOME AND BROUGT SAMPLES AND MEASURED TO VERY PROFESSIONAL AND QUALIFIED INSTALLERS.

PROBLEM W/ DEFECTIVE TILES ON ONE JOB & THEY REALLY WENT THE EXTRA MILE TO GET IT CORRECTED & THE JOB COMPLETED A.S.A.P.

THEY WERE VERY PRICE COMPETITIVE. THEY DID THEIR WORK VERY QUICKLY, THOROUGHLY, AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES.
