Bob Cook and his employees completed the repairs on time, professionally, and at a fair price based on the short time frame with which we were working.

He's great about explaining things, and talked to us about a few different types of disposals. He always cleans up after himself, and he does great work.

The "polar vortex" cold snap caused pipes to a sink in my laundry room to burst. Bob capped the pipes the first night so we had water and then came back two days later to finish the replacement of the plastic pipes. He was helpful with advice and he was professional. There was about 2-3 feet total of pipe (plus a couple of joints) that needed replacement, over three different pipes in a small area of about 12 inches square. Considering the job was done in two trips and included an evening call, I think the cost of $250.00 is probably reasonable.

He fixed the problem. We have used him before and have been happy with his service.

On arrival he put heavy cloths over area's upstairs that were carpeted. After a few hours of work they were done. I stayed out of their way. Very professional, quietly removed old tank, installed new one. Told me they were done. Showed me the extra small tank new water heaters, for pressure release. Explained warranty, told us in about 2 hrs. should have plenty of hot water. Told us to turn on all faucets, check toilets, get air out. Attached manual to water heater. Mr. Cook took a lot of time to explain changes in water heaters, and sediment issues, causes. The replacement decision was ours, he had explained options, no scare techniques . I write this because in an emergency need for sunk pump, we called a major uniformed company to install one. Was a disaster, drained it into front yard, waited 2 weeks for master plumber to agree front yard had to ripped up, and drain placed in side yard. We also needed a outdoor faucet replaced. They installed emergency shut off valve to faucet( cost over $300), didn't solve the problem--- the faucet! Never again with them. Called Cook plumbing to replace back outdoor faucet. Again he gave us several alternatives, installed a new all weather faucet. Just turn off in winter. Cost about $100.
After Mr. Cook installed water heater,he corrected a pressure issue with faucet at no charge. Mr. Cook is soft spoken, busy plumber, explains your alternatives, conscious of repair cost, but gives you a complete picture of the issue, will answer any question, leaves the decision to you, but will be upfront if he feels something needs to be done to protect the integrity of your home. We have known him for 20+ years and except for a brief period when we allowed another firm to install to sunk pump(disaster), Bob Cook has done all our plumbing, and will be for our future needs. Cook plumbing offers a more than fair price. I appreciate his integrity, his time, his explanation--- I trust him. Good to know he's there.
Willingly will offer any recommendation, although I don't think he needs it. I am confident in him

Cook plumbing has done an excellent job. They have done work for my father for years, so I have grown up seeing their work. We recently have bought a 100 yr old home and it seems everything I touch means a call to them. They have promptly responded to my multiple calls (3) in the last 3 weeks. They show up as planned and always address the issues. I know I can rely on them to perform a quality job in a timely fashion.

I think he is great. I've been using him for years. I've always been pleased with his work. He cleans up very well and explains what he did. When I schedule an appointment, he is always here as scheduled. However, he always calls if something comes up and he needs to reschedule or may be running late.

On a Friday afternoon while doing laundry, the washer was filling the stationary tub, which was not draining at all. We called many plumbers to get the work done that day if possible. Bob Cook added our job at the end of his day, working into the evening on a Friday night to do the work. He also explained to us what had caused the problem and what we could do to reduce the problem in the future.

He spent a good hour looking for the leak. He couldn't find it but I found it a couple months later. He didn't charge me to come out and look for the leak.

I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY TWICE AND WILL CERTAINLY DO SO IN THE FUTURE IF/WHEN NECESSARY. I WAS ESPECIALLY IMPRESSED WHEN MR. COOK SLIPPED MEDICAL-TYPE BOOTIES ON OVER HIS SHOES BEFORE WALKING ACROSS THE CARPET TO GET TO MY BATHROOM.
