Collins decided to install a replacement heat pump. That would make the new unit under warranty the remaining 8 years and 5 days. The replacement unit is currently not covered under the warranty. Collins has not contacted the manufacturer to have the warranty updated for the replacement unit. They have been ignoring my phone calls and not returning the call like they said they would. If the replacement heat pump goes out tomorrow, we are not covered.
