They were recommended by another company that gave me a quote. Busam Services Limited was punctual and professional. They were very conscientious. The guy actually did exactly what I asked him to do. When he discovered something else that was wrong with the window, he pointed that out and fixed it for me while he was there. So, I appreciated that. I was very pleased with them. They were perfectionists and I will use them again.  

It went great! Very professional, very good workmanship. Charged us the same amount he charged us 7 years ago! 

 Dos would be to check the cost of a new window.   I thought windows were more expensive.  Busam assured me the window would be good for many years - my recollection is 10 yrs.

 I thought I was overcharged even before the work started falling apart.  this was a rip-off.

Excellent. Mike came to the house, gave us an estimate, scheduled an appointment, and made the repairs.

I also found Mike Busam via a recommendation from Pickens Window Service. I didn't want to replace the entire window because I was concerned about the window matching all of my other windows on the front of the house. This particular window had been showing signs of rotting for several years, despite our efforts to put a halt to it. Finally, there was nothing left to do but find someone else with the skill to make the needed repair. Based on my description of the problem, Mike gave me an estimate over the phone for the repair and came to my home on time and as scheduled. I really hadn't considered replacing the wood with vinyl, but I must say that Mike did an excellent job and you really cannot tell the difference. The window looks like it did when it was brand new. Now I don't have to worry about it rotting. I couldn't ask for a better solution. Mike Busam was very professional and came to my home with all of the tools and supplies needed to make the repair. It took just over 2 hours to complete the job. I would not hesitate to call him for other window repairs or carpentry work.

This was a lifesaver - I had originally called another window person from the list who came and said he could not do the job without replacing one or more windows, which we did not want to do, since it was expensive and would result in a mismatched window on the front of the house. He recommended Mike Busam as someone who might be able to fix the window rather than replace it. Mike did the job beautifully and is, in my opinion, a master craftsman and very pleasant to have around. We have since hired him again for a larger construction project. Very pleased and happy to recommend him as an excellent choice.

I thought he was very good and professional. They did a quality job because my problem with water leaking in has not occurred, but I thought the price was high.

Went great - pleasant, extremely professional (scheduling, etc). A piece of the window frame fell off the house into the flowerbed, causing me to go through a series of calls to window repair companies, none of whom felt it could be fixed... we were looking at having to replace all our front windows (thousands of dollars) but one repairman who came out recommended Mike Busam. He came out, looked at the window, said he thought he could make a new part for the window but that it would cost $325, about half the price of a whole new window and a perfect match for all our other windows. He scheduled the work about a month out and felt the window would be safely in place until then. He came as promised on the scheduled day and time and fixed the window, caulked it, and showed me how all the other windows needed to be caulked to prevent additional occurrences of the problem.

It's just one guy, I think. He took the window apart and replaced the sashes.

Mike Busam was recommended by Pickens. The larger companies did not want to do this work so I was glad to find him. He came on time as planned, gave me an estimate & scheduled a time to do the work. He also looked at 2 other projects that involved wood work (the garage) & gave estimates. I'll have him do those too. He's pleasant, works efficiently, & cleans up. He removed the sash in the morning (it had crashed down between the storm & the lower window) & brought it back in the afternoon. He completely rebuilt it.
