Pros: Very fair prices. Excellent service, installation & results. Very courteous and professional. Cons: can be less than speedy in responding to phone calls & were inconsistent with their punctuality (sometimes could be early - but called ahead to make sure that was ok - but was late for another appointment.

The job itself went fine. The workers were all very nice. As far as price, I can't really say if they were on the high side as we didn't have another estimate but probably should have. They were hard to get hold of. There were a lot of calls made to them and no one answered which was frustrating. And messages were left which were not always returned in a timely manner. I was always surprised when I called and someone would answer! When the job was finished, I noticed the lights in the master bath would flash every time I adjusted the speed on the ceiling fan in the bedroom. I called and Bobby came out and said the old switch just needed to be replaced which he did. My husband and I were a little surprised at the bill we received for $94 which included a service call. We didn't feel this was justified since this was as a result of the fan installation in the bedroom, not through any fault of theirs, but somehow the circuitry affected it. We would have gladly payed for the parts but felt it didn't warrant a service call since in our minds it was attached to the work that had been done in which we had just spent almost $4,000! To make matters worse, I was extremely upset at the way I was treated on the phone by first Bobby and then Mr. Dickhaus. I didn't feel I deserved that as I was not at all upset or confrontational but simply stating my case. It was uncalled for and very unprofessional and in our minds not the way you want to treat a customer that has just spent a lot of money with you. I of course paid the $94 but we will never call on them again and will not recommend them.

I spoke with Bobby (owner) to get a ballpark quote for my laundry list of items that have accumulated over the last year. He and I texted to finalize decisions and details - which was very convenient. He worked it out so that I got my appointment on the day I requested - which was about a week out from our initial conversation. Riley and John showed up on time and got right to work. They were professional and respectful of my home - making sure to wear boot covers to protect my floors. Bobby stopped by to check on progress. During our meeting, I asked about potentially getting a remote for our family room ceiling fan (cathedral ceilings) at a later date. He came up with an alternative that was so much better, so the office delivered the parts within the hour and now I have fan/light controls integrated into the light switches - very slick! I highly recommend Advanced Electric. They were easy to work with and completed the work in about 4 hours.

They were very responsive. I called about getting a quote, and Bob came out that week. In addition to quoting me on what I thought I wanted done, he also suggested some other things in terms of dimmers and separate switches. In the end, we decided to go with his idea and are absolutely blown away by the quality of the work. They came and finished most everything in one day and went out of their way to clean up the dust caused by the installation. When one of the crew came back after our ceiling was painted to finish installing the cans, he even came back to double check that all the small screws were up off the carpet because he realized that I have a young child in the house. I would absolutely use Advanced Electric again without a doubt :).

Bob and Bobby were outstanding through every phase. They responded promptly with an estimate and accommodated our busy schedule to get the job done the next week. Bobby did the work and was as professional and thorough as any contractor that I have ever hired. Bobby wanted to make sure that the installation was perfect before he left and it was. The price was exceptionally fair and the work first class. I will use them for any future electrical work and highly recommend them.

I had bathroom outlets that were not working. Advanced Electric identified problem as wires crossed, probably installed incorrectly when house built. Service man fixed wires and charged only for service call.

The price was very reasonable. The guy came out and did troubleshoot the problem. He recommended fixing it and he did it. There was no complication at all. Everything is holding up fine. He was very professional and well dressed.

Installation went better than planned. Bob Dickhaus made an excellent recommendation for the LED fixtures I would need. The installers were great - they managed to wire up all 4 of the recessed lights without major damage to the existing drywall. This saved me money on the (follow-on) drywall repair job. Installation looks great.

I am very very pleased with the quality, professionalism and workmanship. I recommend Advanced Electric to everyone. I will be using them again shortly to re-do the electrical and lighting in my soon to be remodeled kitchen. Hire them you will not be disappointed.

Once I submitted an inquiry on servicing my lamp post I received a call back the same day. An appointment was set up to give an estimate and handle the repair. They scheduled the service right away.
The repair man was prompt, courteous and quickly knew what the problem was. He did take the time to carefully inspect everything before making the repair.
I would definitely use Advanced Electric again and have already spoken highly of my experience to others.

During the ice storm power lines came down and the ground came down first and we had a voltage surge in the house. We lost quite a lot property in the house and there were few household electrical circuit issues that needed to be repaired. My only contact with them is over the phone because the home is rental property and I am only a resident. I have not seen them in person but I can tall you they are fantastic. They went out and interacted with the renters and you set it up over the phone. They contacted me every step of the way and they were willing to work with me as far as sending me the bill. They were very prompt. They were prompt not only with their appointment time but they came out very quickly, which was nice. It worked very well for me as an owner not being on site. They have discovered a few more problems and they were there this morning to do some more work. They were also very good about not taking advantage. They did not say that there was more work needed than necessary. They did not have very much to do. They were very honest about that. I was very happy about them and I would use them in the future. I have not got very many electrical works done so I would not be able to say whether their price is normal or not

Diagnosed and then replaced photo sensors on outdoor light fixtures at Finneytown condominium. Total fee was less than most electrical contractors' inspection fee only. I would recommend Mr. Dickhaus to all (and I do!) for excellent, fair, and honest electrical work.

The workers were very friendly. They called when they were a little late because they got their directions wrong. They did the work. The two men who first came seemed to argue a bit about the problem they were having, but all turned out alright. One GCFI outlet ended up not working properly but they came out to fix it quickly at no extra charge. They invoiced and billed quickly. The price was a little higher than I expected, but they had to do extra work above what the original estimate was. They have also done some great research for us and done some estimation on installing a generator. They have given great advice and been very helpful with their information.

They met with me for an estimate on time. They gave me a ''not to exceed'' figure based on the possibility of a mis-wired can light system in the finished ceiling. They returned on the promised day to fix it. They used a lock box and restored the home to perfect condition. They programmed the timer, and billed in a timely fashion. They charged the ''not to exceed'' amount on the nose.

This company was one of the best contractor companies I have ever worked with. Big point: They always showed up when they said they would be there, contractors were courteous, clean up was wonderful, all inspections passed without comment. Work was done in an extremely timely fashion and would recommend or rehire instantly.
