Performed a 3 hour inspection of the home and barn, inside and out including climbing to inspect roofing and chimney, encouraged me to accompany him (not to the roof). Detailed inspection of windows, doors, electrical system including testing of all outlets and switches, appliances and plumbing. He sent a 31 page report by email with photographs and comments later the same day. Arrived on time. Very professional. Friendly. I give my highest recommendation. His inspection let us know what repairs will be needed on our new home.

I am extremely glad I did use Kent. He was there on time and was extremely professional in both his dealings and job done. He took his own time and inspected every nook and corner. His efficiency was incredible as he had the report in or hands within 30 minutes of the inspection. I would definitely recoomend KBS to anyone who needs a home inspection.

The house belongs to our son who has moved out of state. To help facilitate a sale, it was decided to have the home inspected. Mr. Sauber arrived on time, and in fact was waiting on my husband's arrival. He was thorough in his inspection from the roof, to the attic, and the crawl space. While it was not necessary to do the detached garage, he included it in his inspection. Close up photos were taken of all problem areas that were found. He explained these problems to my husband as he went. We received a PDF file of the inspection in an email within an hour after the inspection was finished. The file was thorough and contained the pictures. Mr. Sauber was friendly and helpful. We found the report to be very useful in preparing the house for sale.

Kent arrived on time, he is very detailed and through. The whole process is done on an IPhone and immediate results are posted through email via pdf.
The whole process took about 2.5 hours. He looked over every inch of the house and pointed out even the smallest detail. After he was done, he discussed the results and showed us the areas of concern. He didn't mind questions or us being there during the process.

I would definitely tell others about them. It really impressed me that he was taking pictures of all the issues, a leak issue or an insulation issue. By the time he was finished he was able to download those pictures and upload a report and send it to me via email so I could start using it. That impressed me. I talked to one or two other companies and he was on the cheaper side. He came out within two days of when I wanted it done. He was on time for both inspections.

I was highly impressed with Kent Sauber. He arrived early and started working immediately. He was very through and inspected every inch of the home. The house was approximately 1100 square feet and it took roughly 3 hours for the inspection. He explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions. The inspection report was highly detailed with pictures and we had the report within 30 minutes of him leaving the location (we would have had it earlier but he didn’t have 3g coverage to send the email to us earlier). If I needed another inspection I would not hesitate to call Kent. He is top notch and extremely thorough.

We're in the process of buying our first home, so this was our first ever home inspection and I'll admit I don't have much with which I can compare it. Regardless, I was very impressed with Mr Sauber! First of all, he gracefully handled a mix-up on my part. A relative assisted with the cost of the inspection, but the check we had was for $250, not the $275-300 that he usually charges, due to a miscommunication amongst myself, the relative, and the realtor. When I approached him about this a day ahead of our inspection appointment, asking what other arrangements I could make to get him the missing $25-50, he told me not to worry about it, that $250 would be fine! Even when I insisted I didn't need the Idiot Discount and that it wasn't his fault I hadn't verified everything, he still assured me he was fine with the lesser price. What a nice guy! The day of the inspection, Kent showed up a little early so he could catch the homeowners and talk to them about attic entrances etc, and then pulled out his ladder and hopped up on the roof to start checking it while I finished yakking on the phone and smoking a cigarette. He was friendly and warm without seeming at all pushy or weird; Kent was an absolute professional the entire time! His inspection was very thorough, and every time he found the slightest problem he took the time to show me exactly what was wrong. He's using state-of-the-art equipment in his reporting, filling out fields in an application on his smartphone and taking photographs with the same where necessary, and (true to his word!) I had an email from him less than an hour later with the very detailed inspection report with high quality pictures illustrating each problem he discovered. Like I said, I was very impressed, and I wouldn't hesitate to use Mr Sauber in the future. I'll definitely be recommending him to my friends!
