Mr. Tiller was prompt and very knowledgeable in his estimate and presentation. It was EXTREMELY difficult not to chose Tiller for our roofing job, and we would definitely recommend anyone to consider them.

They were punctual, friendly, did great work. They were here 6 days, and by the time they left you wouldn't have known that they had been here, they cleaned up so well. The final job was amazing, people were even stopping on the street to look at the job. They also did some extras, like putting a seashell design on the roof where the beams come together. I liked it so much, he put it on all four corners and had to be hand-cut. They replaced all the decorative items and put new screws in everything. Even though we accepted the bid, we had the estimate done 6 months before. They didn't even change the price.

I called company for an estimate and they were out within a couple of days for an estimate. I was very skeptical of companies because I had a terrible experience with the roofing and siding company that previously did the job three years ago. Jim reassured me over and over that he would take good care of us, and that he would do a good job. I appreciated his kindness and caring attitude. I paid him 50% down and he didn't want another penny until the job was done to perfection. It restored some of my faith in these companies. Ray and Chuck did the siding and it looks beautiful. I am in the process of getting an estimate from Jim on exterior painting. I highly recommend this company, and my husband and I thank this company for helping us to make our home the way it was before these storm chasers destroyed it. Thank you very much.

Mr. Tiller was prompt and very professional. He was very low key and not pushy in any way. He came, took measurements and answered my questions. He said he would send a proposal in the mail. His proposal was somewhat higher than the company we chose.

Very pleased the representative talk with me extensively about what needed to be done to fix the roof. Also got estimate on new roof price was very reasonable.

Siding well-matched and work was prompt.

Mr. Tiller came to my house to provide an estimate. The company has many glowing reports on the list and his price was better than the previous I received: $6,900. This includes complete tear-off of 3 layers of shingles on the house and 1 layer on the garage plus installation of shingles on most of the house and garage plus rubber on a low-slope dormer and addition. I am awaiting one more company's estimate, but Tiller is definitely in the running.

The home builder didn't leave me any extra stock for roof repair. I called Tiller to do the work and he informed me, after he was on site, that he actually had extra shingles. He was familiar with the home builder, and carries extra stock for those houses, so he knew exactly what was needed to match my roof. The repair was as good as new. There was no charge for the shingles!

Despite the cold, snowy weather, they completed the work promptly and professionally. They were very good about keeping us informed if they were delayed, and cleaned up neatly. Everyone was very polite, knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with. They also do painting, and we will probably ask them for an estimate on painting the exterior of our house and garage next spring.

I sent an e-mail to Tiller & Newlook Siding on November 27 stating my interest in having them do some siding work for me. Newlook was on site the next day & submitted a proposal a few days later. I never heard from Tiller. I have signed a contract with Newlook. Tiller should discontinue advertising their e-mail address if they won't even acknowledge the messages they receive.

AFTER PHONING UP SEVERAL OTHER ROOFING REPAIR COMPANIES, I GOT IN TOUCH WITH TILLER ROOFING AT 8:00 AM, AND VIRGIL TILLER MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO COME OUT AT MIDDAY THE SAME DAY. MR TILLER PHONED UP AROUND 10:00 AM AND ASKED WHETHER IT WAS OK TO COME EARLIER. HE ARRIVED ABOUT 10:30 AM AND INSPECTED THE DAMAGE. HE HAD SOME REPLACEMENT SHINGLES IN HIS TRUCK, WHICH HE WAS ABLE TO USE TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE IMMEDIATELY. HE ALSO NOTICED A FEW OTHER FAULTS IN THE ROOF WHICH HE WAS ABLE TO REPAIR AS WELL. A VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT SERVICE AT A REMARKABLY LOW PRICE. I WOULD HAVE NO HESITATION IN USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN, AND HAVE ASKED THEM TO QUOTE FOR A COMPLETE ROOF REPLACEMENT IN THE SPRING.

I'M THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED WITH JAMES BECAUSE: 1. HE WAS DILIGENT IN HELPING ME FIND AN ANSWER. 2. HE FULLY REFUNDED THE ORIGINAL $340 THAT I HAD PAID HIM BECAUSE HE SAID IT HADN'T FIXED THE PROBLEM AND I COULD USE THE MONEY TO PAY THE CHIMNEY FOLKS. THAT'S IMPRESSIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

2 ROOFS WERE PUT ON OVER AN OPEN HOLE. MR. TILLER SAID WHOEVER BUILT THE HOUSE SAID THE WOOD WAS HIGH QUALITY. THE ROOFING WAS POOR. THEY TORE IT ALL OFF AND DID A WONDERFUL JOB. TORE OFF IN 1 DAY, REPLACED IT THE SECOND DAY AND CAME BACK OUT TO DO THE DOWN SPOUTING AND EAVES. THE PERSON IN CHARGE OF THE JOB WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE.

AN ABSOLUTE PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE. I CALLED FOR AN APPOINTMENT, AND WAS ABLE TO GET ONE ONLY A FEW DAYS LATER. VIRGIL WAS RIGHT ON TIME. NO PROBLEMS FINDING THE HOUSE. I RECEIVED A WRITTEN ESTIMATE IN THE MAIL WITHIN A WEEK. THE WORK WAS SCHEDULED WITHIN A FEW DAYS AFTER RETURNING A SIGNED CONTRACT. WE DECIDED TO ADD SOME VENTILATION TO THE ROOF AFTER RECEIVING THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE. VIRGIL WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING, AND PATIENT AS WE TRIED TO DETERMINE WHAT WOULD WORK BEST FOR OUR NEEDS. WORKERS CAME OUT AND COMPLETED THE WORK IN ONE DAY AND LEFT NOTHING FOR US TO CLEAN UP. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE TILLER ROOFING AGAIN.

I HAVE USED TILLER ROOFING TWICE AND MY ONLY REGRET WITH THIS COMPANY IS THAT I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THEM. THERE ARE NO PUSHY SALESMEN, JUST JAMES AND VIRGIL THE OWNERS. I USED TO WORK FOR SOME CONTRACTORS INCLUDING ROOFERS WHILE I WAS GOING TO SCHOOL, AND BELIEVE ME, THE TILLER ROOFING COMPANY ARE NOTHING BUT HONEST, HARD WORKING QUALITY CRAFTSMEN. YOU CAN'T GET BETTER THAN THAT WHEN YOU NEED A JOB TO GET DONE. THEIR PRICING IS ALSO COMPETITIVE WITH THE OTHERS IN THE AREA, BUT WHEN YOU CONSIDER THEIR OTHER QUALITIES, PRICE IS ALMOST AN AFTERTHOUGHT. I WILL LOOK NO FURTHER THAN THE TILLER ROOFING COMPANY SHOULD I NEED ROOFING SERVICES AGAIN.

WHEN TILLER ORIGINALLY CAME, THEY THOUGHT THE LEAK WAS CAUSED BY PROBLEMS WITH THE WAY THE FLASHING WAS INSTALLED BY THE BUILDER. THEY DID WORK TO REPAIR THIS, IT DID NOT FIX THE LEAK. WE HAD THEM COME BACK OUT TO LOOK AT THIS, THEY CAME BACK AND CAULKED IT - WHICH DID NOT WORK. THEY SAID THEY WOULD FOLLOW UP TO TAKE OTHER ACTIONS TO DEAL WITH THE LEAK, (BECAUSE YOU CAN SEE WATER STAINS ON THE WALL OF THE DINING ROOM) BUT THEY NEVER FOLLOWED UP WITH US AGAIN. WE GIVE UP! WE ARE GOING TO CALL ANOTHER COMPANY.

I JUST THOUGHT HE (IT WAS A YOUNG MAN) WAS VERY NICE, HE EVEN CLEANED MY GUTTER FOR ME AND HE DID NOT HAVE TO DO THAT.

VERY PROMPT RESPONSE TO OUR CALL. THEY GAVE US A REASONABLE ESTIMATE FOR ROOF, BUT WE WENT WITH ANOTHER COMPANY.

JAMES WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND DETAIL ORIENTED. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED AND WILL PROBABLY HIRE THEM FOR THE JOB. THEY WERE A LITTLE SLOW IN GETTING THE ESTIMATE TO ME, BUT EXPLAINED THAT THEY WERE SUPER BUSY LATELY. THEY WERE WILLING TO DO A MUCH MORE COMPLETE JOB THAN ANOTHER COMPANY HIGHLY RATED FOR THE SAME PRICE.

THOUGH THEY WERE BACKED UP AT THE TIME I SCHEDULED THE WORK, THEY DID THE JOB WITHIN A WEEK TO TEN DAYS, SOONER THAN THEY PROMISED. THEY DID A GOOD JOB MATCHING THE REPLACEMENT SHINGLES. ALSO THEIR ESTIMATOR WAS PROMPT.

WAS MOST EXPENSIVE OF FOUR BIDS. TIMELY GETTING OUT TO GIVE US A BID. BID WAS THOROUGH.
