 + -1 moreWe had gone to every lumber store in the Columbus area, and we happened upon Contract Lumber South by accident. When we walked in, unsure of exactly what we wanted, they took us under their wing and helped answer every question we had, and told us things to expect that we hadn't even thought of. They found the lumber we wanted (poplar) for our new steps, and also walked us through the process of putting the steps in (we had never done this before). They then showed us the 10'' baseboard poplar we had been looking everywhere else for, and they were more reasonable (even with custom routing done). My baseboard was finished right on time and waiting for us to pick up. Everyone here treated us just like family. We have been back since, and when we walked in they knew us by name! This is the kind of company I want to do business with!
Description of Work: We had looked everywhere for poplar to build steps and for baseboard, but we also wanted a fair price. Contract Lumber South had the wood we wanted, at a great price, and they had the 10'' baseboard also. They routed the baseboard to my exact specifications, and it is beautiful! They finished the baseboard right on schedule, and the other lumber we bought at this time to do the steps was just perfect!
