I have an heirloom Cartier Basculante watch. I needed to change the time, as I have done regularly in the past. This time - I must have pulled the crown too hard and it popped off. I contacted Jeff and he said to bring it in - and he may be able to fix it while I was there. He took the watch apart in front of us - very interesting to see - and fixed it, along with replacing the battery. You won't find a more honest, skilled watch repair professional around Ohio. I highly recommend!

The Watch Doctor was very personable and knowledgeable about my Rolex Watch. The job was done on time at a very reasonable price. The watch was completely restored and adjusted to correct a daily loss of time. The quality of work was outstanding and beyond my expectation as the watch now looks brand new. I would not hesitate to go back to The Watch Doctor for future repairs or to recommend him to others.

After trying for three months to get my watch repaired by a local jeweler, I contacted the Watch Doctor. I also took a second watch for an estimate and he repaired it on the spot. The other watch was repaired and returned to me within a week. Jeff is personable, knowledgeable and his prices are extremely reasonable. Why put yourself through the aggravation and expense of using a middleman when you can deal directly with the professional who is going to do the work? It was worth the drive to Grove City to have Jeff repair my watches. I recommend him to anyone who needs watch repair.

He replaced 4 batteries and did the band adjustment on one of the watches while I waited. I was there about 30 minutes. His assessment of the overhaul watch was very honest and professional. His prices are very good. It was truly a pleasure. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

I lost a rivet holding the links together on the riveted band of my vintage Rolex, and cracked the crystal.
I called Jeff and he asked if I could bring it in right away.
Jeff repaired the band with the correct rivet. He also replaced the cracked crystal with a new one.
Jeff also completely dis-assembled the watch, pressure tested the case, lubed the gasket, and reset the time.
He did all this while I watched - at a very reasonable cost.
I walked out of his shop wearing my fully functional Rolex, in less time than it took to drive there!
I am completely satisfied with the service and skills of Jeff Broughton.
I called Jeff and he asked if I could bring it in right away.

My wife gave me a Tag Heuer watch a few years ago. She bought it from a big name national jewelry company. I called that company to see if they could replace the battery. They quoted me $100 and at least a month to complete the work. Feeling as though this would ridiculously expensive and too slow, I found Jeff on Angie's List. He has all great reviews for a reason. I called him and he said I could bring my watch over that day and he would replace the battery on the spot for $5. I did just that and had my watch running again in no time. He is a very nice and knowledgable man and I would take my other watches to him in the future. This is a great example of how you can support a small business and also save yourself a bunch of money as well.

Although this business is run out of a private residence, the equipment, parts available and expertise of the provider easily exceeds the quality and thoroughness of similarly situated watch repair in jewelry stores or watch shops. The provider, Jeff, was completely knowledgeable of the details (cause and repair protocol) of my watch.
Because this is a residence, an appointment was necessary. With that said, I called at 9:15 am, made an appointment for 10:00am and was on my way home by 11:00am.
Considering the time, cost and professionalism of this service, I'll be taking all my watch repair to The Watch Doctor.

I took a watch that had been in my husband family for five generations to be evaluated to determine why it was not running. Jeff was wonderful! Not only did he assess the watch to determine the flaw, he also was able to provide a repair history, manufacture date, and general information about the use/care of the watch. I was surprised by the age and makeup of the watch. Jeff was able to narrow down the problem quickly and determine the fault was the top of a piece that had come loose. He tested other areas of the watch to confirm the problem.. He was able to re-seat particular piece and the watch is running beautifully now. He also cleaned up the inside of the watch while we chatted about it's history. Since the watch was not actually broken he did not charge me for the visit. I was in awe.
You can tell he loves what he does and is totally worth the drive to Grove City.

My watch was repaired in 10 days and now runs perfectly. It had been running slow and he adjusted it to keep perfect time. He told me it was already clean and did not need that. I am so impressed with the professionalism and skill of Jeff Broughton. He spent plenty of time explaining everything, ordered parts, fixed my watch for a price that was so reasonable I chastised him a bit for not charging enough!! My late father was a watchmaker/jeweler so I shared some memories about him. The Seamaster was a replacement for a watch that my father had given me and was stolen. I am giving it to my son who is graduating in May from Miami University.
Well, it is truly a positive thing to know real honest craftsmen still exist. I highly recommend this man. First rate service at affordable price. You will not be disappointed

First class all the way. Jeff knew what he was doing - asked if I wanted original or replacement parts. He followed up on a regular basis while he waited for the part to come in. I felt comfortable and in good hands throughout the process, and really appreciate his work on my watch.

Perfect! That's the only word that comes to mind. My watch had the tell tale signs (second hand skipping) of a dying battery so I took it to a jewelry store to have the battery replaced. After they replaced the battery all movement stopped. They weren't sure what could have caused the watch to stop all together and frankly I wasn't either because it was a straight forward battery change. The jewelry store said they could look into the problem deeper but it would be $250 to send it out for repair. When I found The Watch Doctor I looked at his website which had some information that a battery change wasn't all that simple and brought attention to a coil that is near the battery that is easily overlooked but could be the culprit. I had nothing to lose so I gave The Watch Doctor a call and made an appointment. Sure as can be it was the coil he mentioned on his website. Who knew?! The jewelry store was going to charge me half the watches value to look into it but The Watch Doctor essentially had a possibility and I hadn't even called him yet.
Anyway the person has a mind blowing wealth of knowledge. He's very professional, he has an extremely neat shop, Veteran friendly, and he taught me a lot about watches and the watch industry. After meeting him I can not imagine going anywhere else for my watch needs. I'm definitely going to spread the word. Thank you!

He was very nice. He got it working again about a minute without making me feel stupid for bringing it to him in the first place. Because it was so simple, he didn't charge. If it stops working again, I'll bring it to him because I can trust his assessment of what needs to be done.

Operates out of his Groveport address. Knows his stuff. Was able to take my watch apart (down to it's most basic parts) in less than a minute or two. And then put it back together when he found the right part. The watch now is waterproof again, and keeps great time (the Mondaine is the official swiss timepiece of the swiss railroad system). So glad, too. I really love this watch, and I'm a bit of watch n*** myself, but I can't really afford to collect all the ones I want, so I just have about a half dozen, and the Mondaine def is the better looking of the bunch. Real modern art-looking. Back to the Watch Doctor: great work, great price, fixed on the spot.

Jeff is great. He provides a great services and an extremely fair price. He's very honest about the work that he does and tries to provide the least expensive option. Communication was easy via email and everything was done as explained and on the agreed timeline. I wouldn't hesitate to go to him again and I plan to as I have several other watches that need periodic service.

Although I do come across watches that simply can't be repaired, due to no parts available or was made so it can't be repaired. The fact is, most watches can be repaired but I will never hold back in telling someone when a watch really isn't worth getting repaired (unless there is sentimental value.) Thank you for putting your trust in my service."
