Noticed the grand opening signs for the business from freeway, so decided to stop by because we needed new carpet. Jim Park greeted us, and showed us the berber carpet samples they had in the salesroom. He allowed us to borrow one of the sample boards to take home, and explained that he was offering a grand opening special that month for 30% off the price listed on the carpet sample. We decided to purchase from him after looking at carpet from other retailers, since we really liked the carpet sample and the price for carpet, pad and installation was very good. He came out to measure over a holiday weekend, and we had the carpet ordered and installed within 4 days of purchase. The crew that came to install the carpet did it quickly, but put several large dents into our newly installed baseboard and did not point them out to us nor apologize for the damage. My husband is VERY unhappy with this part of our carpet purchase, but we are overall happy. The carpet looks very nice, and we were impressed with the speed of the whole process. One additional note: the salesman has a VERY heavy accent, and not a totally fluent grasp of the English language, so we weren't always sure our questions were being understood--this may be frustrating to others.
