Discount Tire

I've used Discount Tire for many years now. What brings me back is their professionalism/service, large selection of tires and competitive prices. This time, it was an unplanned visit. The driver of the car hit a curb HARD late at night and severely dented/damaged 3 rims and tires on our older BMW. I had purchased the tires at this shop months prior and knew they had a road-hazard  warranty on them. After leaving the car at the shop overnight, they called and informed me of their findings. Since 3 of the four rims AND ties were damaged beyond repair I decided to replace all 4. Their salesman had already tired to track down replacement BMW rims (which are $$$$) so we decided  on aftermarket replacements. While on the phone and  web we picked out
replacements that looked good and were significantly cheaper than the factory rims. They would be shipped from Indiana and would arrive "in about 3 days". They did, as indicted. They honored the road hazard on 3 of the 4 tires I had purchased in the past from them (the 4th was too well worn). They completed the 4 rim and tire replacement as promised, stored the car overnight several days while the rims shipped and treated me well as always, I'll keep using this business!

The quality of the tires has been good. They did it in a timely manner and had very friendly customer service.

They patched my tire and when I asked how much I owed them? They said nothing. Just consider us when you are ready to buy new tires.

Quite simply the best tire place I've worked with. They replaced my old tires, ensured I got the discount, and the price for the services is right there in front of you. There are no extra or hidden charges for valve stems, nitrogen inflation or tire disposal. It was all included and in plain English with no "funny business". In addition, I got free tire rotations for the life of the tire, and they even recognized me when I returned a year later with a different car (not the same tires) and rotated THEM for free because I was a frequent customer. Won't be buying tires anywhere else but there.

I had a good experience with them. I have used Discount Tires before in the past but not this one. Their price was reasonable. They were pretty fast.

They handle everything well. I got a good price on the tires. A tire went flat after six months after we got it. It was punctured on the side, and they gave me a new tire for free. They do free tire rotations for life. Their very prompt about getting me in for my appointments. They give the kind of customer service you don't expect anymore.

Dropped off for quick mounting of tires i already owned. Had to repeat myself several times. Person i spoke with was generally rude. Job was simple and seemingly done ok; will find out in the next 1000 miles.

I had made an 8:00 am appointment to have a tire replaced on my 2005 Suzuki Forenza Wagon. I had been riding on the doughnut spare for about a week. After arriving, Stuart inspected the tire on the vehicle and said that I would also be needing another tire, due to the htreads beginning to show and that it could blow at any time, possibly causing an accident. I informed him that I have been unemployed since August of 2007 and would not have any money to purchase another tire for about a mointh. He suggested a used tire, I said I would have to think about it since money was very tight. I paid for the original tire I was replacing and they began the work. When they removed the other tires on the car, thery found that it also needed at least 1 more tire very soon also. I said I would just have to wait. Stuart went into the office, returned and stated he was able to really help me out. To my utter amazement, he was somehow able to replace all 4 tires (albeit a 40,000 mile warranty tire instead of 70.000 mile of the original tire purchased). I asked what additional it would cost and he said that I would just have to pay the original invoice and he was just adding an additional invoice showing the adjustments, instead of voiding and re-ringing as it could take an additional 7-10 days to credit the account and he didn't want to hold up my money that long, and that he could not in his eyes, see me buying only the 1 tire and the possibility of the other tires exploding and causing an even bigger problem (accident or worse). Of course, I immediately thanked him and withing 15-20 minutes I was on my way. Needless to say, I immediately PRAISED GOD!!! It does prove that there are still people who do care and are not just out to make a buck. This was a godsend in these dire times of our economy and greatly welcomed. I have used this shop several times in the past, and have always gotten excellent service, but this goes way, way above and beyond. I definately recommend this shop if tires are needed.

I have been using their services for the last six years. They are very reasonable with their prices. They complete the work in the time they say they will.

This visit to Discount Tire is an example of why I rave about Discount Tire. It was Friday afternoon and I had to leave work early to attend calling hours at a funeral home about seventy miles south of Columbus. I called the store, told them what was going on and where I had to go (and why) and they made an opening for our car. When I got there, they dismounted the tire and inspected it and found a pin hole leak in the sidewall an area that can't be fixed. They had to order a new tire to match the others, but they gave me a correct size new tire to use until the replacement came in a couple days. They were as nice as could be and handled everything, including setting the appointment up with the Discount Tire closest to our home. I love Discount Tire and their employees AND their warranty!

My wife drove over on her luck break with a tire going flat. We had 44000 miles on OEM tires;nail in sidewall couldn't be repaired. Showed her several tires, discussed pros and cons of each, had her out the door with new tires on in less than 1/2 hr.
