We had neglected our septic system. It was full and then caused the main line from the house to clog. Since we missed any warning signs, the issue surfaced a few days before Thanksgiving - guests soon to arrive. Not only was Chuck's able to service our system the same day we called, they sent TWO techs out to first evacuate and then unclog our septic system. All for a very reasonable price. Thanksgiving indeed. Much appreciated!!!

Following a periodic pump-out of our septic tank, the driver showed me a couple of things that needed to be repaired - specifically the concrete baffle on the secondary chamber of the main tank had crumbled to pieces, and the concrete "D-box", the distribution box for the 2 branches of our leach field, also needed replaced. The driver told me that we should get the repairs done sooner than later due to the risk of solid material making it out to the leach field, and promised that an estimator would get in touch with me shortly. Later that afternoon, I talked with Jesse who came out to the house to look at the system so an estimate could be prepared. When he left, he told me that another person would be sending me the estimate via e-mail. A little later, I received an e-mail from Rich with the estimated cost of the repair (~$900). I signed the estimate and sent it back to him within minutes. I then called Rich, confirmed he had received the signed estimate, and asked when he thought they could do the repair. I was told it would probably be early the next week depending on the weather and emergencies. That was four weeks ago today and I have never heard back from them. I've called Rich back on his cell, leaving messages each time, and e-mailed him multiple times with no response. I also called the office and the person who answered the phone told me Rich was on the other line and that he could call me right back. Still nothing. I understand that they're busy and spring is likely the absolutely busiest time of year. The fact that I can't get any kind of response in 4 weeks - even a simple "hey, we're busy, we'll get to you when we can", is ridiculous.

I scheduled a tank pump-out with Chuck's Septic. As in the past, the truck arrived on time and the driver was very professional. When he finished cleaning the tank, he showed me a couple of things that needed repair and told me he'd have an estimator get in touch with me. Although that part of it didn't go so well (I'll describe in a separate review), the pump-out service was great.

These people are great! Valerie and Pam got me an appointment for later the same day. Michael worked hard to clear the line. When snaking wasn't successful, he called for backup help, Cecil and Gerry. The three of them were quickly able to clear the clog using a stream of high-pressure water. They were all quietly confident and pleasant. And I thought the price was reasonable, since the work totaled 3 1/2 hours. Thank you!

Initially because of cross communications , we were off to a rocky start, but after we connected the work was done quickly, professionally and within budget. They tidied up the mess once they were done and there was no "shovel leaning" going on while they were on the job. I wish more pro's were this considerate. I would absolutely hire them again.

The first worker could not locate the septic tank. I rescheduled with their locator crew. they located the tank and said that it was 6 feet deep and said that a small back hoe was needed. I rescheduled for that team but there was miscommunication and only one man showed up with only a shovel who said he could't do it. I rescheduled again and four weeks later a crew with a back hoe was able to install a riser. 4 days later they were able to clean out the tank. I met 8 of Chucks employees including their manager. They were all very friendly and easy to talk to.

I called Chucks on Tuesday and had an appointment that Thursday, the lady who made the appointment was very nice explained what would happen. On Thursday, they were supposed to be there between 2-4 I got a call at 1:30 they were on their way. Got there explained EVERYTHING to us! Emptied our tank and was very nice and informative. Did the job wonderfully. Being first time septic owners we now feel very much ready for what we need to do to maintain.

So the call taker was very professional and actually worked us in the same day because I was do to have surgery the next day. The guy that showed up was excellent (Nick). Friendly,Professional, and knowledgeable. He said our lift pump was bad and needed to be replaced. He called and texted the gentleman in charge of that for Chuck's. He even gave me his number and said to call him asap. I did,no answer, left message. Never did contact me to replace pump after multiple calls. I had to call a different company to get the pump replaced. Ended up costing much more than it should have. So they are good at pumping out septic tanks but not much more than that.

They arrived on time and the employee was very friendly and helpful. He checked the tank to make sure it needed emptied and answered our questions as we had never had a septic tank until we bought this house a few months ago. I would definitely recommend this company.

I had water backing up into my basement from the pipes that carries the waste out. The weight of the water in the pipes cracked a couple of my pvc pipes causing the water to spill and pour out when any plumbing was used. I had a plumber come out who ran a line. The plumber notice told me that it was a septic issue and even though he wanted to help me with my horrific situation he couldn't. After reading the reviews to CHUCKS SEPTIC TANK SERVICE I decided to call them. I had personally researched some possibilities as to what was causing the problem and three different sources online said start with empting the tank. I spoke to someone at the office explaining the situation and asked if someone could just come out and empty my tank. On Dec 9th two guys show up in a VAN (while my mom was home). Told her they needed to plug something in...ran a line under ground then left her with a bill. Water still spilling out of my pipes right above ELECTRICAL LIVE WIRES!!! I was furious when I got home and my mom told me that CHUCKS SEPTIC TANK COMPANY only came out and ran a line then told her that I didn't know what I wanted done. I clearly told the woman on the phone that I didn't know what was causing but of course I wouldn't know because I'm not in the septic business, one thing I do know is that I wanted my tank emptied. I had another company come out and they found the problem...MY TANK NEEDED TO BE EMPTIED!!!!
