614 Garage Door

Our garage opener started giving the dreaded "6-4" error. We've had it since 2015 so couldn't figure out what was wrong. The folks at 614 worked on it for a couple days. When the parts the replaced ended up not working, they swapped out the unit for a refab and it works flawlessly. Customer service was excellent. We appreciated their honesty and work that they put in to resolve this problem.

Chris went above and beyond to get my garage door functioning properly at a new build home. They installed the opener, a remote keypad and a control. The guys from 614 Garage Door were called in when the door simply would not raise or lower as I was showing my house for sale. They swept in, adjusted the spring, installed new rollers, added some backstops (the first panel of the door had fallen out of the tracks on one occasion) and made some other tweaks. After their service, the door worked properly again, ran faster and was a lot quieter (they replaced the ancient metal rollers with the new silicone-coated rollers). They were extremely polite, worked quickly and cleaned up after they were finished. I would give them my highest recommendation and I'm currently trying to sort out how to get my home warranty to pay for them to come in.

GREAT. They were timely, and they cleaned everything up. they hooked up our old door opener and made sure it worked properly. It's seals better than ever.

He was very nice and fixed it in no time! Everyone else i called wanted $150-200 Just to come out and look at the door and not in a timely manner! I definitely will be calling Chris again for any problems i may have in the future! I highly recommend him!

My garage spring broke on a Thursday. Chris couldn't get to it until Sat afternoon. He apparently is in big demand because he had to delay his apptmt on Saturday, but only by an hour. Chris promptly diagnosed what needed done, accomplished the repair, and tuned up both garage doors in about an hour and a half. He did excellent work and explained everything well. He also helped make adjustments to the door which the original installer never performed 10 years ago. The double door is quiet as can be now. Loved the work!!

Called 614 Garage on Monday and they came out to my daughters place for an estimate. Said it would cost $50 more due to being an 8 foot garage door. He came on Wednesday around 1130 and was done by 1:00p.m.. After installing it he told me how to program the keypad - in fact he chose a system that was very user friendly knowing that our last system was very complex. He told me what I needed to do to maintain the system and what to look for if the equipment is to breakdown - not for a long time!
Chris was very friendly and I would hire him back in a heartbeat!!!

My mother's garage door is going on 25 years old. It had started to make a lot of noise and look a little jumpy when going up and down. Chris came out and took a look at it and told us that it just needed a tune-up and lubrication. Now the door works as smoothly as it did when it was new. My mom told us that she used to be able to stick her head our the front door, hit the garage door opener, and hear whether the door was moving. Now she has to walk out to the garage to make sure the door moved because she can't hear it at all. She said, "It just glides up and down without a sound."
