+ -1 moreWe were living in a one bedroom apartment with 3 kids. My wife had to drive 30 miles each way to take the kids to school. We were selling our house out of state and buying at the same time, so this was a very stressful time for us. Desteni was excellent and very responsive throughout the whole process. She was very professional and knowledgeable. We were delayed by several weeks as I worked through the credit issues, but shed kept the paperwork moving and made sure we had everything ready to go. Once we submitted everything she helped fast track the underwriting process so we were approved in a few days and were able to close on time. We highly recommend Desteni and everyone at Performance Mortgage. They really are all about performance and customer service.We ended up with a really low rate, much better than I expected based on our credit issues. The rate is so low that we will probably never need to refinance, but if we do, it will be with Performance Mortgage.
Description of Work: Desteni Mason is the loan officer that we worked with, and she is also the owner. She performed many services to help us get approved for the loan to buy our house. I moved to the Dayton area for a new job. My wife and kids joined me after we had a contract on a house so that the kids could start school. Our credit was not very good due to some overdue medical bills. Desteni helped me work with creditors to get the bills cleared up and credit rescored so we could qualify for a reduced rate. She is an independent broker so she was able to offer several options with different lenders.
