He is extremely unreliable.  He just finished siding our house about 3 weeks ago, and the job was started almost 8 months ago.  He subcontracted out the siding and the window work, and when the other workers were here, we found alcohol bottles on our property.  Through the entire project, I think the most time he spent on our property was about 6 hours in one day.  There was also an issue with leakage in the house which he claimed to have fixed several times, but it kept coming back.  When he finally finished the addition, I hired someone else to install the tile and then found that the addition wasn't even square!

I was surprised that the workmanship was so poor as I've seen other jobs of his that were exemplary, but based on my experience with him, I would never hire him again, or recommend him.
