We had them come out to check the roof and they said they couldn't get anything done till we got the raccoon off the roof. There was a mother raccoon with babies and she had done a bit of damage up there trying to get into the attic. She dug up the shingles, the rubber and the stuff underneath it and had almost made her way into the traffic. Luckily we got the affordable animal control guy to come out that day and he got the raccoon and the babies out. Mick's Roofing sent some body out and they did a temporally fix so that the water wouldn't get in and they came back a couple of weeks later and did a permanent fixture on the roof.

Initially, I spoke on the phone with Nate and he came over to do an estimate. He didn't give me a time or date that he would meet me at the house, since it seemed he understood what I needed. When I received the estimate in the mail and email it became clear, that he had not understood my instructions. So he came out again. This time I wanted to meet with him, but somehow that didn't happen. Once I approved the work, I didn't hear from them about when they would be doing it. I called them and Nate said, he would be able to do it later that week, but didn't give me a specific day. I asked that he call me and let me know before he went to do the work. He ended up calling me the day of the work and though I asked to hear if any wood needed to be replaced, he never called me back. I came home to find that the work was done. Fortunately, they did an excellent job and I've had no leaks since!

A storm came through the area on a Thursday and tore some fascia off the side of my house. I called Mick's Roofing on Friday morning, and they showed up for an estimate at 1pm; which I thought was very quick considering they were probably swamped with tons of other calls. It was pouring rain when Nate arrived. I showed Nate the damage and we discussed a few options. He then told me to run inside and get out of the rain. He preceded to get out a ladder and climb up on my roof to remove the dangling fascia, which he threw in the back of his truck and discarded for me. I've had several problems with that side of the house so I made a request that the fascia needed to be fastened a little more securely. Mick's Roofing showed up within a week and installed some custom made fascia, because it fit better than the store bought fascia. They fastened it with nails every few feet as requested and I'm sure I won't have any more problems with that side of the house.

I HAD A LITTLE PROBLEM WITH THE SKYLIGHT LEAKING, SO HE SEALED IT UP, HE CAME BACK, DIDN'T CHARGE ME FOR IT, DID GREAT. THE SKYLIGHT WAS NOT HIS FAULT, BUT REMEDIED THE SITUATION IN A TIMELY MANNER. HE WAS ABOUT A $1000.00 CHEAPER THAN ANOTHER ROOFER. HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF SERVICE.
