After a massive oak tree came crashing through my home during high winds Arbor Care Tree & Landscaping, Inc., was there within an hour to assess the situation. The entire team was phenomenal and took care of every bing seamlessly. The owner and his crew were professional, timely and worked diligently to remove the tree so that a restoration team could come in and attempt to restore what was left of the house. I’m very thankful for this team and all their hard work and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They were a godsend.

Mark is prompt, professional and does excellent work for a very reasonable price. We have used his service twice now, and both times he came, did the job, and cleaned up. The first time, he cut down a dead Ash and ground the stump. The second time was more involved, because we had a medium sized maple that was dying that needed cut down, a huge oak tree with dead branches that needed trimmed, and the stump ground. He had his own stump grinder and a truck with a lift and a crane so everything got done in 1 day. And we have a fenced in back yard but it was no problem. He's a real nice guy who didn't take advantage of us young homeowners that had had ridiculous quotes from other companies. I really appreciate all the hard work he did and would recommend him for sure.

Mark and his crew are real professionals. They arrived right on time and did a great job. It only took them three and a half hours to remove three 60 foot tall trees from the time they arrived until they left. The setup and cleanup almost took as long as the actual cutting and that's because they took a lot of time putting down plywood on the grass to protect it from the crane and a bucket equipment they used. The cleanup was also fantastic! After they left I thought I was going to have to spend a couple of hours picking up branches but to my surprise they left the area as clean as it was before they arrived.
The price I paid was very reasonable and Arbor Care will be the first company I call for any future tree work. I highly recommend them.

Mark and his crew came in the morning with all their equipment and 2.5 hours later had all 3 trees cut down, ground all wood into a mulch and clean the yard to my satisfaction. The whole experience was one of the best I had with any contractor.

.Job went very well from quote to finish. Mark from Arbor Care contacted me and gave a quote, he was flexible in that I travel for work and would not be home to speak to him personally. Arbor Care was priced over $200 less than the other quote I received from another provider on Angie's List.
After I accepted the quote, Mark gave me a timeline of the current week or the next week for completion of the work. Mark called yesterday to let me know that they would be over today, and they very professionally completed the job. Cleanup was thorough and they left minimal marks in our yard from their equipment.
Arbor Care left their invoice in the door for me and I have already written and mailed them a check. I would definitely recommend their company for an affordable and efficient tree care provider.

They arrived as expected, discussed the job with me, made recommendations and then proceeded to clear any items off my patio that could possibly be damaged by falling debris. They were very efficient and careful of my patio, my new swimming pool and my new deck.. Everything went smoothly, they were very polite and professional. I am keeping a portion of the trunk in my yard which they moved for me into the area I requested. When they were finished they cleaned up the area very nicely. I am extremely happy with the work they did for me and would not hesitate to use their service again or recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Mark assured me on the phone that he'd "trim the tree the way he'd want his own tree trimmed". After I saw the work, I sent him a professional email to tell him how my husband, my renters, my neighbors, and I couldn't tell that he had done much trimming to the tree. Mark responded defensively by email from his smartphone - and claimed he had done just what his written estimate said he'd do (which I'd contest). The tree is still extremely top heavy and I have concerns about limbs falling on my home or my neighbors' (which was the whole point of the trimming).
A few days later, I received an email threatening a MECHANIC'S LIEN on my home if I didn't pay him immediately. The check was already being sent from my bank. I never did hear from him by phone to address my concerns. Not worth the energy to deal with Arbor Care ever again and I still have to find someone else to trim the tree AGAIN.

"Arbor Care always provides a written estimate to the customer so they know what to expect! Member estimate # 6486 stated : Remove 2 smaller branches over chimney, remove low branch over neighbors, clear neighbors green house by 6 feet or more and remove low horizontal limb over house toward neighbors yellow house. Haul all. Arbor care completed the items quoted and thinned the center of the tree and removed larger dead wood we seen for safety! Also cleaned up debris on the property that was already present. If we did only what was quoted there would of been 5-6 prunning cuts instead of the 14 that are obvious. Note that the work was performed on Dec. 18,2012 and the first email from Member was received Dec. 31,2012 at 12:15 pm. Arbor Care responded with email sent Dec.31,2012 at 1:10 pm stating that I was on the job the whole time completing the quoted work not to mention the work not quoted! I asked that if there was other work you would like done to the tree other than what was quoted, i would gladley meet on the property and agree to other terms. I also stated that the tree appears in good health and should not need pruned for approx. 5 yrs. unless you encounter storm or animal damage. I stated that I believed we evceeded the amount of work that was quoted. Note that payment still was not recieved although Member stated payment was immediately sent. I tried calling Member Jan.2 and 3rd with no response. We sent another email on Jan. 9, 2013 at 6:35 pm stating we completed the work specified from estimate # 6486 on 12/18/2012. If payment has not been received by Jan. 19,2012 (a month later) then we would place a lien on the property to secure our interest for the work provided. We did receive payment from Member on Jan.16, 2012. Thank God for emails that they have a timeline and don,t stray from the facts! Had to take down and cut up large maple in back yard but couln't use their large truck with extendable bucket. So the tree had to be climbed and safely taken down in sections. Gentleman was very knowledgeable and accomplished it quickly - like watching a monkey in a tree with a skilled saw. They made the least amount of mess and did a very good job with the stump grinding too. In addition to the backyard tree, they removed another tree in the front and did variious trimming of other trees along the drive that were interferring with overhead wires. They cut the wood in the section lengths we requested and left for our use as asked. They ground up all other debris and branches we didn't want in the mulcher truck they had. It was estimated to be an all day job and they worked continuously from 10 am to 4 pm with hardly a break for lumch.

We were out of town when a neighbor called to inform us that the trunk of our front tree had split. We found Arbor Care on Angie's List and gave the company a call. Our call was returned the same day and we had an estimate the next day. The work was done promptly and at a reasonable price. There was no damage to our yard in the process. I would definitely use Arbor Care again.

I selected Arbor because they already had high grades on Angie's list. Mark responded back to my initial call within a couple of days. He came out personally and gave me an estimate. He's great at explaining how they will do the job. He provided insurance documentation on the spot too. Long story short, they trimmed a big oak tree on the day they said they would do it, and they cleaned up as if they were never there. Great experience, I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I've had Mark come out to my home twice to prune trees in my yard, once in July, 2010 and once in January, 2011. I had a good experience both times - Mark was clear about what he was going to do and why, he answered all my questions, I felt his prices were reasonable, he showed up when he said he would and he did the job with no problems. As a new homeowner, I'm realizing just how great it is when a contractor actually shows up and comes through for you. For the January job, I had him come out and look at my situation and then asked him if we could schedule work at a later date. He kept in contact with me over the next couple of weeks in order to work me into his schedule and advised me of weather conditions that could impact his ability to work, etc. The only "issue" I had here is that I think I neglected to mention to Mark that I found his name on Angie's List, and so I didn't get any Angie's List discounts he might have been offering. My bad, though, not his. I will work with Mark again.

The work was good, but the price for everything was too much. It was higher than I thought it should be, but that was about the norm for everybody. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

He trimmed the tree and cleaned everything up. He did a really nice job. He suggested that I call next year when the buds begin to break to inject something into the tree to keep the apple scab from getting bad.
