Suburban Propane - Goshen

I spent over $500 each time they come out. They're one of the expensive companies. In the country where natural gas is not available, if you have a stove, fireplace and so on you use LP gas to power them.

I think they are very professional, very timely and my experience with them is good.

We changed this past year. There was actually no cost involved because they put us on budget billing. So I would say throughout the summer, we probably paid them a couple of thousand dollars for propane and not for any other expenses. So far, my experience with them has been very favorable. I have no complaints. I went with them because they were close. I looked at a couple of other propane companies and just decided to go with them because of their proximity. With regard to price, they are pretty comparable. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

They are apologetically higher than ANYONE else. Not even close. When I
explained to the owner, he stated that it was market conditions. When
I reminded him that all of the local competitors are subject to the
same market conditions, he just went silent and reiterated his price. I
recommend going ANYWHERE ELSE but here.
If you need service,
you have to call the national number. They rarely return calls unless
you escalate to national. It took a full week to get them to return my
call last winter. I asked for a price to buy out their tank 4 weeks
ago...no response. NONE and they won't return my calls. Horrible
HORRIBLE!!

Suburban Propane - Goshen are usually very responsive when I need a delivery. It is usually within a day or two.

We have had them for ten years. I guess they are reliable. If they say they are going to be there, they will be there. I do not like their pricing and their billing. I do not know what their current rate is. The change is based on the gas prices for propane. It is not a standard, it relates with the market but they are higher than Collet which fairly has better rates. It is just that to switch is a hassle.
