ARD Hardwood Flooring

Dan and his crew were professional, on time and courteous. I had a lot of questions about the process and they made sure I was informed and happy every step of the way. They matched the existing hardwood perfectly and the areas where wood was added are seamlessly integrated into the rest of the home. There were a couple of glitches because we chose a water-based sealer that is more difficult to work with than traditional sealers and Dan was quick to fix the problems that arose. Our floors are beautiful now and I would definitely recommend ARD Hardwood to any one looking to refinish or place hardwood!

Dan and his son were a pleasure to work with. They always arrived on time and did exactly what I wanted them to do; they communicated with me as the job went along and were patient with the resident animals. They painted the already-primed door and were able to use my existing framing instead of the new one that came with the door (which made the job neater and smoother...and less expensive). They cleaned up after the job, the new door looks wonderful and I would have Dan and his son back anytime. I'd give them an A++ if I could.

This team has been outstanding. Dan met me to provide an estimate and came in just where I hoped. We adjusted upward $300 when I asked that dividers be removed between the previous hardwood and the newly installed flooring. I was happy enough with job progress when Dan called to say the refrigerator had leaked water overnight and damaged a 2' x 6' portion of floor. He and his team worked with me to shut off the water supply and get the refrigerator into the garage. When a restoration representative quoted $800 to dry the area over 2-3 days, Dan offered to tear out the damaged portion and reinstall for $200, and kept us on schedule for completion. He also offered to clean-up the 20-year-old fridge and move it back into the kitchen when the job was finished.
