Tara came up with a great design that met our needs (low maintenance) and our color preferences, her knowledge of plants, soil, direction of beds and what would be best for us was wonderful. We obtained 3 estimates from different providers and Tara's was the only one that broke everything down and had a drawn plan telling us what would be where. She and Mark installed our beds in an afternoon and we couldn't be happier! Will recommend whenever we can!

We cannot use enough adjectives to describe our space now. The one word is great. The design was right on, the work was fabulous and the landscaping is perfect. Tara is very patient & most helpful. This of course was our first time at this and unlike other companies, Tara made suggestions which were perfect. The work was done beautifully and the cleanup was outstanding. I plan to call them again in the spring. Don't hesitate & be sure to compare apples to apples when getting quotes.

Tara begins by getting your input on design. once she begins work she is steady until the work is done. I was very satisfied with the outcome

These guys were fantastic to work with. On an apples-to-apples basis, the quote we got from a competing firm was about 100% higher. DigIn's charge for labor was about 1/3 of the other firm. They were pleasant, polite, punctual, and hardworking. They knew what they were doing quite well, and made some nice suggestions as the project went along, including getting some beautiful stones which had been salvaged from the demolition of an old Toledo building (these were used for retaining walls and borders). The final patio result was awesome for an awesome price. The frosting on the cake is that DigIn is good with plants. Instead of the competing quote which was basically "pick out some plants and we'll put them in," every plant selection was carefully planned ahead of time for a nice mix of color, some plants that would keep their leaves in winter, some that were of great visual interest, and everything was deer resistant, which is very important in our neighborhood. We greatly enjoyed the summer and fall with our new patio and are looking forward to the Spring. We are having DigIn do some more work for us once the weather warms up.

Overall pretty well, but seemed to have some communication issues over time frame and cost.  Tara was very nice and very knowledgeable.  She was accommodating when there were issues to resolve.

Tara and her husband do great work.  They are very precise and make sure everything is perfect.  The design is very nice and takes advantage of the existing landscape.  Since it is just the two of them, it did take a few days to complete, but both Tara and her husband are very friendly and easy to work with.  I was hoping to have the patio put completed in July, but I am very glad we waited.  Our patio has several curves and required a lot of brick cutting.  Each brick is cut perfectly.  If someone is looking for a landscape contractor/patio installer who really cares about the work they are doing, Dig in Design is for you.

This is the second time I've used dig in designs for landscaping. I had a very large tree removed in my backyard and also wanted to change the landscape around my deck in the back yard. (Dig in designs did not remove the large tree.) I had dig in designs landscape the front of the house a few years ago and it worked out very well. So, when it came to the backyard, they were the ones that I called. This is what I really liked about them:
1) Tara Williams (owner) came out to the house, measuered the back yard, asked me what I would like to see, and came back two weeks later with a layout and a drawing of what it would look like. This was a very detailed drawing that showed the back of my house, the deck and what the mature plants would provide.
2) The plan had very unique plants that would provide color in my yard all year long, even in the winter.
3) I missed the tree that was removed as it provided quite a bit of shade on my deck and house. We discussed a fast growing, yet decorative tree to replace it in the back yard.
 4) Cleaniliness - the first time they were at my home, the only way I could tell they were there was because of the plants. Same with the second time, there were no signs that they were there except for the mulch dust on the driveway!
5) Quality - I don't know how the garden edging was done, but it is superb! Very crisp flowing lines, very professional! And the plant quality is exceptional. When the front of my house was done, I only lost plants due to heat (1) and rabbits (1). Everything else is growing very well!
6) The job was done when I was told it would be done.
7) Tara knows what she is doing. After the front yard was done, I let her have free reign in the back yard. I was not dissapointed!
To be honest, I didn't check pricing on the second job. I new I was getting quality work and what I spent was within my budget. I didn't want to take a chance on some other service. I would strongly recommed dig in design for any landscaping project you have!

They were OK, but just new at the business. They sent me a diagram by E-mail, which I appreciated. The overall experience was excellent. They were punctual, responsive, and professional. I would use them again.
