He is an artist! He is pleasant to work with and does a great job!

I have used Steve's service to paint several rooms in my house. He provides quality materials and is meticulous in the quality of the detailed work like trim and finish. He kept he work area very clean and cleaned up every day after he was done. It makes me happy when I look at the new colors in the rooms he has painted.

Steve has worked for me on different projects - basically my whole house - for nearly 15 years. He is the best, most precise and gifted painter I have ever used, known or even interviewed. He treats your home with respect. His edges and lines are perfect. He is quiet, clean and just seems to meld into your home. If you want to chat, he is charming. If you don't, he won't make a peep. He will do what ever you want. He will paint one wall white, or create, through paint, the "designs" your 12 year old describes - and to perfection. His only fault is doing quick and dirty jobs - HE CAN'T DO IT! His work is always pristine. I live in a 100 year old house, and he is able to match the craftsmanship of those who built our home. My only fear is that others will discover his genius, and he will be too busy to fit me in!!! Steve's last project here was lifting and fixing a plaster ceiling that was separating from the lathe. It had dropped about 8 inches in the center (a 8x10 foot ceiling). He replaced where he had to, but married the new work with the old in such a way that it is seamless. When some fancy plaster molding had to be shaved into, he crafted its replacement and painted it to match the original. I am about to call him yet again to refresh the Interior window boxes and sills in our sunroom because he is the only one I would truSt to match the 100 year old stain and varnish of the adjoining original cabinets. Steve Taylor is the best. A real artisan. I am proud and lucky to know him.

I knew Steve did great work from seeing various jobs he did and hired him for this job. He worked with my mother on choosing the exact shades of paint she wanted and used great quality products. He was able to schedule the job promptly and was extremely prompt and professional. Everything was done to perfection; no paint splashes anywhere, no brush marks--just beautiful. His price doesn't get any more awesome, either! I have found our "forever" painter!
