Description of Work: Brian Hooper is a pleasure to work from the first time we met until completion of our job. His work is top notch, without a flaw. All of the subs he brings in, he has worked with for close to 15 years, so they are all the top line. The only thing not top drawer is his price. He was actually lower than two other estimates we received. Brian had received very good recommendations for neighbors who had used him, so that's where we went. I can't recommend him enough. I would look no further, if you are doing any kind of remodel. He doesn't cut corners on anything. He gives you updates along the way and tells you who will be coming in etc. I left my garage door open for all of his people without hesitation. He and all of them clean up at the end of each day. Brian was right on time with his completion day. He has good ideas with how to maximize your space. His lighting is suberb. He even does little extras for you at no cost. Any other contractor would be adding on to your bill, but not Brian. He's the best

Description of Work: I can't say enough good about Brian Hooper with Hooper Homes. He quickly supplied us with references who allowed us to come in and see his work. They all gave him rave reviews and they were right on. They said he was a pleasure to work with and they were absolutely right. Brian's estimate came in way under, other quotes we received. I told my husband I don't know how he makes any money, paying the subs etc. We have done several other major projects and Brian is TOPS to work with. He keeps you informed daily of what is going on. All of the workers and work he subcontracts is top notch. I had no problem leaving my door unlocked for any of his workers. They were all courteous and left the work space clean each day. Brian has built six homes and has done umpteen basements and remodels all over the area.. Most of the homes in the Laurel Springs subdivision in Bainbridge and Canyon Lakes were done by Brian. He tells me he doesn't have a website or do email because all of his business is word of mouth. It shows that he loves what he does. Brian doesn't need to advertise or spend time on a website. He keeps very busy, all from referrals. Brian has lots of good suggestions and ideas. He knows all the best products, what works, what doesn't. He has gone out of his way on numerous occasions during the job. For example, when we chose darker colors for paint, he made a special trip to Sherwin Williams commercial store, to talk to the top guys to make sure the color would be what we wanted. He ended up applying a grey primer, rather than white so the true color would come out. When we chose a light grey ceiling, instead of white... without hesitation Brian hand painted 20 some light fixtures and air conditioning vents to match. Are you kidding, do you think another contractor would have done that... especially without an extra charge. They don't even want to do that. Just as the other homeowners mentioned, Brian does lots of extras at no extra charge, UNHEARD of in this industry. We got the idea to add some built-in shadow boxes on one wall, Brian did that at no extra charge. I added bead board on one wall, in the middle of the project, no problem! Brian is a perfectionist. He re-did some walls because he wasn't happy with the taping process of the drywall. He had a sub contractor take out several tiles in the bathroom floor to make them just right. I could go on and on. You receive an excellent product when Brian is finished. (btw.. i have seen many bad basement projects that Brian didn't do) Brian truly makes the project FUN! He is the nicest man you want to meet. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give him a 20. I am not a relative. I had never even met Brian, only heard of him. He did not disappoint in any way.
