I wouldn't hire this guy to change an AC filter. An absolute incompetent, disorganized, lying moron.

First, my landlord lives in Florida, so I had to arrange to get my air conditioner fixed when it went out and he paid for everything by western union. This service provider was the landlord's choice, because he had dealt with them before.
After first contact, it took a couple weeks before they came out to install the outdoor unit. During this time and the rest of the time (about 1 and a half months) I dealt with him, he would tell me he would come out and perform the services, then wouldn't show up and didn't call to let me know he wasn't coming. I dealt with this bad service almost every day I had off work over the course of the time I dealt with them. Putting in the new outdoor unit did get my ac working, but without a new fan for the indoor blower, it is working almost constantly to keep the temperature down and blows at about half the speed it should be.
After weeks of waiting on him to come install the fan, I called him and he began ignoring my calls, so I left a voicemail saying that I would appreciate it if he would call me and let me know if he wasn't coming instead of wasting my time, because I may have had better things to do than wait on him. I left another after he wasted that whole day telling him it was the worst customer service I had ever experienced. I was angry, but had been dealing with this kind of behavior for weeks and had other things to get done that I could not do because this man was wasting my time.
Today, September 4, 2014, I contacted him to see if he could or would come out this week to actually get the job done that he had already been paid for by my landlord (installing a fan for the indoor unit), and he told me he had a couple jobs today and tomorrow, but he would check his schedule to see if he could send someone out on Saturday to get it done. I told him that's fine, but, being fed up with waiting and wasting all of my free time on him, I told him that, since he's already been paid, if he tells me he's going to come out, then he needs to actually come out. His response was, "You know what? I'll just give him (my landlord) his money back and somebody else can come fix the m***********! F*** you!" and hung up the phone.
I would not recommend this service provider under any circumstance.
Sorry about the language, but it is a direct quote.
Update: About two hours after the above event, I got a call from another HVAC guy (it turned out he was sub-contracted to Arctic Air) who came to my house the next day and fixed my AC. It's working fine now, but it's a pitty that I had to deal with them in that way to get the job done.

When they installed the furnace, they took out the free-on because they thought it was overfilled. It was not, which caused our furnace to work harder. They installed a furnace that was too small and after removing the free-on, our electric bill was roughly 3 times higher than it should have been. I called them back out to fix the problem and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. After a while they told us that the furnace was too small. He said he would replace it for free. I told him, if you can come do the labor, we will pay for the furnace. He agreed to come take the old one out and put in the new one for free. After I received the cost of the new furnace, it was apparent that they were trying to charge us for the labor after all.
I ended up having to buy another furnace from another dealer and have them install it. In the meantime, I asked that he take my old furnace to my husbands office and install it there. He agreed and took the furnace to my husbands office but never installed it. When I asked why, I was told that he was waiting on a part. He later explained that he had the part and would be coming out to install the furnace at a later date. We haven't been able to reach the man since and the furnace was never installed.
