They were a bit slow in responding to my request for an estimate. Their recommendations for materials to be used were excellant and the work was done quickly. It took a couple of days to complete, but there was a lot of digging to be done by hand before the the base and stone could be put down. Over all, I am very pleased with the work and materials.

Overall I was very pleased with the service, delivery, and product. I have been using Hill Stone for two years now for mulch, based on the recommendation of a neighbor. This year I also started purchasing straw, sand, stones and limestone base material. I will continue to purchase all of my bulk landscaping items from them. The process of which to buy and load the materials is easy and they have a lot of beautiful products to choose from. Additionally, they are very knowledgeable about their products and will help explain how to use them for landscaping or anything you are thinking of doing. They helped us to know how to design and build a patio out of pavers this year, and they took our measurements to estimate for amounts of necessary materials. Mike and Al are the two who have been there most of the time that I have, and they are both very helpful with advice for projects and for loading materials for me.
