Fantastic. Folks have -- for the past four years since the work was completed -- constantly admired the work. Tom Haning was great to work with and his work is lasting the test of time!
We met him through Todd Renger of HopeRestoration.com.

Due to inclement weather, the project was delayed a week while waiting for the ground to dry enough so he to use his Bobcat to bring the concrete into my backyard. However, the weather did not cooperate, so the following week Mr. Haning decided to wheelbarrow the concrete instead of postponing the project any longer.  He was punctual and professional and did a magnificent job.

They arrived at 7 AM.  They broke up the bad concrete and hauled it away. They marked the repair site with cones and tape
and poured new concrete.  They were through by 2:30 PM..

It went well. The work was done on time and was perfect.

The job was perfect. Could have not asked more from anyone. The job turned out perfect and 3 years later no issues!

They completed the work within a week or two of the estimate. We felt that the price was amazing and the work they did was perfect. They were efficient and fast, and we look forward to having them complete another job.

I have been through this before where you have a rather small job involving concrete. The job is too much to mix by hand but getting a contractor to bid on it is near impossible because the money for them is in driveways and big jobs. I tried last fall without success and in the mean time found out that 2 of my neighbors needed similar work: one driveway apron replaced and one service sidewalk (like mine) replaced. I thought that with 3 smaller jobs we would be able to get someone to bid on it. I contacted 4 contractors from Angie's List and got 2 of them to respond. Tom Haning told me when he would come to look at the jobs, showed up on time and gave me a written quote for each of the 3 jobs before he left. The other contractor was late showing up, gave me verbal quotes at the time and when I asked for written ones, he never responded. The email address on his company website was also invalid. One of the neighbors decided she wanted something different from the original quote and Tom responded and re-quoted her job. We all decided to have the work done and notified Mr. Haning. Since I was going to be out of town for a couple of weeks, we tentatively scheduled for after Memorial Day. Tom contacted us on Memorial Day and said that he would be out the next day at 7am. He showed up at 6:45 and with his crew, formed, hand dug and prepped my sidewalk area. He also prepped the other 2 jobs and then the following day at 8am, the concrete truck arrived and they poured all 3 jobs, finished the concrete and even pulled the forms by the end of the day. Since one of the jobs involved a driveway apron which requires a better concrete mix, the other neighbor and myself benefited as well on our sidewalks. Tom and his crew are very professional and cleaned up the area and the street. Although I don't anticipate any further concrete work, I would not hesitate contacting T.W. Haning Concrete again in the future. 

I noticed Tom's sign on the road and decided to give him a call to get a quote on this project.  Tom was very responsive in getting out to look at the job a few days later.  When he came out he took his measurements, and gave me a quote on the spot.  He said he was a few weeks out as far as timing.  A few days after we accepted his quote he called and said that some of his other jobs got pushed back and he was able to get started in a couple days if we were ready.  They finished over 2,000 sq. ft plus the service walk in 2 days and then came back the third day to cut joints.  I was impressed with the leveling that was done to ensure that there was no puddling of water sitting on the concrete when it rained.  Tom also made a few suggestions in terms of sealing down the road.  I was very pleased with the work that was done and would use them again!

Added concrete to an existing patio. No issues. Would use Tom again. Class 'A' gentleman. Has 40 yrs+ experience.

When we contracted for the work, Haning said they were running busy and would take about 2 months before they could get to us.  But when they finally came, they completed the work quickly, competently and professionally.  Good people to work with.  We've used them in the past and will use them again.

Tom was very prompt in returning my phone call during my initial inquiry, came out within a couple of days to price the work and call with an estimate.  His 3-person team arrived on time on the day scheduled and tore out the old concrete, poured the new concrete and hauled away the previous concrete in just about 4 hours.  It looks very nice.  There was one small area that was missed by his two workers along the house foundation next to the front steps after Tom had left.  I called Tom the next day about it.  Tom immediately called me back and apologized and said that he would be out in a few days to take care of it.  He was out the next day or two taking care of this relatively minor matter.  We were very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and professionalism of TW Haning Concrete.

He could come in earlier than the others and he could fit us in.  I could not grade him on his price because I did not make a comprehensive comparison but i think it was reasonable.

Perfect. We are in the process of moving and needed to have repair work completed quickly to prepare the house for sale. In spite of a packed schedule, Tom was able to fit us in and complete the work four days after we called him...since the work was indoors, he took advantage of a rainy day to get this work done. We would definitely use him again.

The owner of the company and several of his workers took care of the job in one day. They came when they said they would, fixed our problems, and did a great job. They hauled away the old concrete too.

Thomas showed up exactly when he said to give an estimate.  He also gave me an approximate date when he could do the work.  All other contractors were giving me dates months out, while Thomas was 2 weeks out.   He showed up exactly on the date he estimated and completed the work in two days.   He and his crew were professional in every way and had good, positive attitudes toward the work.   I am extremely pleased.

Tom was great to deal with. He showed up on time and completed the work within the time he said it would take. He even ran into some complications and was still able to complete the job on time and on budget.

Went very well. Punctual, did very nice job with design of porch and swirls per my request.  He has an excellent assistant.

Work was well done and area cleaned up to my satisfaction.

I was very pleased working with Mr. Haning.   He promptly returned my phone calls.   There were no surprise charges.   He arrived to complete the work on time.   He was provided a timetable for when the work would be finished.   I am very happy with my new sidewalk.

Tom gave us a written quote.  He came by to go over the details before he started and he and his crew came when expected and did a great job.

They did pretty good. They have a pretty good rating on Angie's List. They did some work for my daughter a couple of years ago and we satisfied with that. Their price is competitive and they seem to a good job.
