PORCELAIN PROFESSIONALS OF OHIO

They refinished my clawfoot cast iron tub. It came back. Unlike many other companies that I contacted, they actually picked up the tub and took it to their shop - many other companies required that I deliver the tub to them. They were courteous and prompt. It took about a week for the service. There were imperfections in the tub that I found when they returned it but they followed up and took responsibility for additional repairs. Good people and good service. I would use them again.

An item chipped our Rohl fireclay (porcelain) kitchen sink and I was so worried - replacement of an undermount sink sandwiched between a cabinet and a stone countertop was not an option, and the sink itself was not inexpensive. Ferguson Plumbing recommended Porcelain Professionals. I called the company and Diane gave me a quote over the phone of $150 which, given her travel time to my home in Dublin from Gahanna, seemed more than reasonable. She came out and was wonderful with our crazy dog (bonus points!) and worked efficiently and neatly. The sink now looks wonderful, and it must have been very difficult on the rounded edge where the chip was located. If I inspect it very, very closely, it has a slightly different texture than the rest of the sink, but Diane tells me that it should smooth out over time. Even if it doesn't, I am extremely pleased, as it looks a million times better than the alternative (and she assures me that she will come back out if it needs further attention). I would certainly recommend this company for similar work, and would call Diane again (though I hope I don't have to!).

This company has terrible customer service. Diane actually came to my house to refinish my tub. She looked at my tub prior to doing service and said that she would make it look as good as new. She said it would take five hours to complete . It ended up only taking her three hours and she arrived late to my house- an hour and a half late! She said that she would remove and replace the caulk around the tub. After the job was complete she asked if I would mind replacing the caulk after the tub had time to air dry. At first I agreed. But the next day I was inspecting the work and I saw little sharp particles in the glaze. Not to mention, there was also white glaze sprayed on my bathroom tile where Diane had not covered it well with masking tape. There were also tiny pinholes in the surface. She said that was normal when I called her back the next day. I also told her about the other things that I noticed. She told me how to scrape the spray off my tile with my nail. Then she said the particles would eventually go away with cleaning. I said that I would rather have her come back out and repair this stuff for me and replace the caulk as she said she would originally. Plus I figured that this is included in the price. Well she said that would come back then she canceled that date and the next date she was available did not work for us. But on the phone she insisted that she would be coming even after I told her no. I waited for her to call me back to set up another date but she did not call. I had to call her and by then I just wanted part of my money back. She became angry with me and yelled and threatened me. She said it was my fault. I said I'd be calling the Better Business Bureau. I filed my complaint and it took over a month for her to respond. Now I have filed a new complaint with the Attorney General's Office. Now I am an Angie's member and see other's have had troubles with this company as well. Do not hire this company.

The results are amazing. They were able to build up the surfaces and recover them so they look brand new. I felt that the cost was good. I did not want to buy another bath tub. They exchanged a lot of information with me.

It looked nice, but peeled up in 1 month. I arranged for Porcelain Professionals to come out and fix it, but they stood me up. So, I had the remodeler handle it. Porcelain Professionals came out, and the owner (Tim) was belligerent. He did end up repairing it, but this time, it came up after 3 weeks. And, it's not even in a high water area. I would NEVER hire this company.

DIANE, THE ANWERING SERVICE IS EXTREMELY COURTEOUS, AND KIND. HOWEVER, THE GUY WHO CAME OUT TO DO THE REPAIR TIM, WAS A SHORT TAMPERED VERY SCARRY GUY. HE REFUSED TO GET ME MY 7 YEAR WARRANTY I DESERVED, AND HE IMPLIED THAT I WAS STUPID. I WAS SCARED BEING IN THE HOUSE WITH HIM ALONE, HE GOT ANGRY AT ME AND RAISED HIS VOICE. THE FINISH HE PUT ON MY TUB 2 WEEKS AGO ALREADY CHIPPING. I WILL CALL THEM BACK TO HAVE IT REPAIRED. I WILL SUBMIT A SEPARATE REPORT FOR HOW THAT WENT. THIS COMPANY GOT GREAT REVIEWS IN THE PAST, SO IF YOU HIRE THEM AGAIN, MAKE SURE YOU GET ANOTHER GUY. DIANE SAID, THEY HAVE SEVERAL WORKERS. MAYBE I JUST GOT UNLUCKY.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD ABOUT WORKING WITH ME AND MY CONTRACTOR WITHOUT DELAYS. THEY WERE GOING TO DO IT ON A WEDNESDAY BUT THE PERSON WHO WAS GOING TO DO THE JOB WAS ILL. THEY CALLED EARLY THAT MORNING AND I WE RESCHEDULED FOR THAT SATURDAY. THEY WERE A LITTLE MORE EXPENSIVE BUT THEY WERE WORTH IT.
