They withheld information that was necessary to inhabit the house. The day we bought it we were legally not allowed to move in. Because of rules and regulations, we had to spend the first 13 months of ownership living in an apartment. We had to bring house up to state code. We filed a complaint with the state board of realtors. The code enforcement officer called because I had activated water, gas, and electric and asked why we did this He stated that we could be arrested. We were not aware of this and spent months making sure the house was up to code, so we could live in the house that we purchased. We had specified that we needed to buy a home that we could move into IMMEDIATELY. Both our realtor and the owner of this company were aware of this. The owner was pretty much said "too bad." We paid the money and that's all that mattered to them!
