My home redecorating experience with Heather Wickholm of Dress It Up Designs went very well.   I am very indecisive and not very confident at knowing how to put all the elements together to decorate rooms well.  She was very good at listening to me and answering my questions and giving me helpful tips on the projects I did myself to help save money and stick with my budget.  I did all the painting, sewing, reupholstering and installing new curtain rods.  After painting the living and dinning room she talked to me about what colors I like for accents in the rooms and provided samples of materials for pillows and upholstery and many pictures of curtains sent to email that I narrowed down to the one I liked.  She would let me work on a project and then email me to find out how things were going.  I would email her and let her know when I was finished with each project and we would set up a time to meet again at my house to start on the next step.  Heather went shopping with me to pick out the curtains for my living room and also went shopping with me to get the fabric for my pillows and upholstery.  The last project that she did for me herself was to make me a picture collage using my personal nature photographs.  She used nine of my photos, framed them and arranged them with three shelves and made me a map of how to place them above my sofa in the living room with all the measurements.  It looks fantastic!  My family and friends love the way everything looks.  
Heather charges $75.00 an hour which is less expensive than some other interior designers or stagers.  She is a very sweet easy going person and very fun to work with.
