SHETLER TRUCKING & GRADING

Well, they didn't grade the drive down far enough. Estimate was to take 3 to 4 feet off. Space for pole building wasn't level and they still haven't come back to replace the topsoil or finish the drive. Just the base is down and they said that heavy trucks for consruction would mess up the drive (which did happen), so they were to come back after the building was up to finish. The property slopes down from drive and they were going to fill that in a bit. Now we have a drive that will sit up quite a bit higher than the house when it is built, rain waters are washing around the pole building and eroding the base. The drive was to be put in at the beginning of April, but due to an unusual amount of rain, it didn't happen till the last week of April. This was in June of 2013. Update. We waited several weeks for them to come back and finish moving the dirt. They finally did, but at an added cost. We did pay for more stone to be put on top of the base of the drive, which was our obligation, but they charged for the time it took to move some of the topsoil back. Up until that point, we had to have a 4 wheel drive to get in and out. The ground was more than 6 inches below the overhead door, so we couldn't get anything heavy into the building or drive anything into it. Also, when it would be days before he would respond to us and there seemed to be be a lot of excuses. I can't say if they were legit or not. Next time, I will look elsewhere.
