 + -1 moreI asked him to do this job because he had done work for me before. After signing the quote, he came to work for me on that following Monday, he came with his son , which I did not approve of on the quote. The job was to take about 54-56 hours for one person . In fact it took him 68 hours to completed. In the end the job cost me about 3,000 in labor and material over what it should of cost by standards in this area.
Description of Work: He did some remodeling work. In his quote, he quoted me for the materials and time he thought it would take. It took him 68 hours and he ordered too much material, which could not be returned. The total he charged me was twice the amount for the job. He does not itemized his final bills . Make sure everything is itemized on quote not just what the job will cost. Keep track of his hours closely and material he uses . Make sure he does a change sheet before anything extra is done .
