SOUTHSIDE SWEEPER WORLD

Description of Work: BUYER BEWARE My Rug Doctor machine seemed to have trouble with the beater brush so I contacted Rug Doctor and they recommended I take the Rug Doctor to my nearest Vacuum Repair Center which was Southside Sweeper World in Findlay Ohio, 45 minutes from my home. I called Southside Sweeper World and spoke with a man, who didn't give his name and explained I was bringing my machine in under warranty and asked him did he in fact repair the Rug Doctor brand. He said yes. I packed up my Rug Doctor up, put the heavy thing in the van, not an easy feat for an arthritic individual. I drove south down to Findlay about 45 miles south of my home. When I arrived to the 533 Tiffin Avenue #A in Findlay Ohio 45840,419-422-6801 I saw a very old delapdated home, paint peeling and old signs reading sweeper/vacuum repair. There was no visible parking so I parked in the driveway of the home next door. I lugged my machine out of my van, rolled in on a broken sidewalk to the front door of the house, lugged it up a few stairs and walked into a dusty, dirty and very old carpeted room with about 40 old vacuum cleaners practically blocking the door. To my right was this tall at least 80 year old man with black hair. I smiled gleefully announcing, my name and that I was here with my Rug Doctor. The man just stared at me like I was wearing something astonishing. I asked him where to roll it, he said leave it where it was. I asked him to give me an invoice that I was leaving the machine on his premises. Dryly he said...I don't have nuthin' like that. Perplexed I said, I need something with a repair order number on it since it's under warranty. He raised his voice and said, I told you I don't have nuthin like that. Lady I don't want your machine. So I became wary that I didn't want to leave my $500 machine under his care, without proof that I left it on his premises. BUYER BEWARE!
