Roszman Roofing & Remodeling

As well as it could have. We were in a rush, but still got 3 quotes. All were close, but Roszman Roofing, gave us a written detailed quote, followed up, and put us into the schedule quickly to meet our timeline. They actually completed the roof while we were on vacation. They provided photos of the area that needed decking replaced. Also, a neighbor had a leak in their new roof that was installed by others, and while working here, Roszman found the problem, and fixed the issue for no charge. Very nice.

Jesse was great to work with. After receiving the quote from him, we were going to wait a couple months to have the work done. He found out that prices were going to go up, so he contacted me to save us money, and we got the work done significantly sooner than expected. The work was done in a timely manner, and he was great about communicating what was happening with us. We're so pleased that we got a quote on another roof and some siding that we will likely hire him for when we're ready.

Overall pretty well. Drip edge crooked on sides. Stated it was the house and not his fault. Stated they would try to straighten. Never came back to attempt fix. Roof looks great other than the drip edge. Very fast service.

I made a phone call to Roszman Roofing on a Wednesday night at approximately 5:45 and had a phone call back right after 6 the same night with an appointment to meet with Jesse the next evening. I contacted 5 other companies for estimates on my roof and Roszman's were the first to promptly respond and to give a reasonable estimate. Jesse made the trip to my house and explained everything to me in detail. I had pretty severe water damage to the back part of the roof that we were sure would need to be repaired. The day they started ripping off the roof, just as suspected, the back of the roof was completely rotten and needed to be completely replaced. I work 45 minutes away and received a phone call from Obie explaining the extent of the damage, thankfully my dad was home and Obie actually walked to my dad's house and explained everything to him in detail after just telling me on the phone. The entire back of my roof needed to be replaced and Roszman Roofing fixed the problem and even put up some siding and made it look wonderful all for a great price! I live in a very small town and there have been several people approach me for the contact info for the roofing company, I am sure that they will be getting business from Kansas Ohio in the future. Working with these guys was an awesome experience and I would definitely work with them again in the future.

After going through weeks of estimates for a new roof and windows, we chose OBE at Roszman Remodeling to do our roof and some masonry work. Obe (owner) arrived for the original appointment for the estimate, walked the project and explained all details in language we could understand, no double talk. The estimate was sent within 12 hours and the job cost exactly what the estimate projected - no hidden costs! Roszman went beyond our expectations. Large roof was completed in 2 Days! Service was excellent and completed exactly as stated it would be. Employees were courteous and professional. The roof looks great. I would highly recommend Roszman Remodeling to any one and will be utilizing their other various services in the future to expand our home. Roszman Remodeling was professional right from the outset. He scheduled an appointment for the day after being contacted and was punctual. He had already had a company estimate my roof's square footage and number of squares required via satellite. Apparently many roofer use this service but what impressed me with Roszman was that he still took the time to meet with me, climbed up to my roof and inspected an area around my chimney that I felt was a potential source of water leaking into my bedroom. Roszman had prepared an estimate based upon the satellite information which we reviewed line by line. Another roofer had quoted based upon a satellite service, sent me the estimate via email, but did not take the time to personally meet with me. The offers were within $50.00 of one another. Work began about a week after I returned the signed contract. Roszman's team, (and I use team in the true sense of the word) were unbelievable workers. The old shingles were torn off, new underlay put down and new shingles installed on both my house and detached garage. Due to rain in the forecast, this was all done in one day. The final shingles were installed as the sun went down and clean up proceeded by outside lighting and vehicle headlights. Still, the clean up was excellent and Mr. Roszman stopped by the next day to make sure all scraps had been picked up. I highly recommend Roszman Remodeling and plan on contacting them for future fix up projects around my home.

Roszman Remodeling previously repaired some roof problems due to design and installation mistakes made by others when our home was built. We were a little nervous about a few things so they came back out to look at our concerns. They made a couple quick adjustments just to be sure everything was right and didn't even charge us for the trip. These are good guys that care about their work and their customers.

Not sure why I never received an estimate back - by email (which I provided) or in the mail.I didn't even receive a phone call after Mr. Roszman (who is a very nice guy) came out to look at the job . This company has a lot of great ratings so I am not sure what happened. I do not believe it is my responsibility as a potential paying customer to be following up on quotes. Update 8/31/14 Mr. Roszman contacted me and apologized as well stated he had typed my email incorrectly (forwarded me the email he had sent a few days ago). I appreciate him contacting me and providing me with the quote and explaining what had happened. I will consider this company for our next roofing project. I have updated my review to give a better rating.

This group of individuals does an amazing job from start to finish the siding team took great pride in a job done right and made sure each detail was done to my satisfaction. They came back a week after the job was completed to install my new screen door and the final results look great. The new front door and siding makes my home look new and I appreciate the effort and concern they had for my home. Ozzie is a great contractor to work with and I would highly recommend his work and his team.

Project manager did excellent job from estimate to completion. Efficient workers. Two minor problems I had with the job were fixed to my satisfaction.

It was good. Well, the price, his was little bit cheaper than the other did. They were there on time. They told me that it takes 7 hours and I did not leave them. We had a big windstorm few months afterwards, everything is still up there.

Roszman Remodeling promptly returned my phone call (unlike several other roofing businesses I called). Set up a time to inspect my roof and was punctual. I had originally anticipated the need to replace my roof, but Roszman's determined the repair was much smaller. He was very honest, when other contractors could have easily taken advantage of the situation. I would certainly recommend them to anyone needing an honest estimate.

Very well. Initial phone call was returned within one day. Property visit was a couple days later and estimate in hand a day or two after that. All telephonic and e-mail correspondence with Mr. Roszman was professional, punctual, cordial, informative and focused. Once I committed to the work, the job was performed about ten days later -- a couple days later than originally estimated, but weather delays on a prior project threw their schedule back a day or two. Was not a problem from my perspective and the delay was communicated to me by Mr. Roszman when known. The day the job was performed was less than ideal -- intermittent misty rain delayed start of the job in the morning and continued during the day. Nonetheless, they tore off and reroofed a 1500 sf one-story ranch in one day (less, considering rain delays) completing the job well after sunset. Good-sized work crew that seemed to work together effectively. Darkness at the completion of the installation made cleanup a bit uncertain as to its thoroughness. Mr. Roszman stopped by the next morning to survey the job in better light and to pick up any scraps, nails etc. missed the prior evening. All-in-all, a job well done and have had no problems subsequent to installation in the three months of windy, wet, winter weather experienced since then. Would definitely consider Roszman for future roofing or other home maintenance projects I might have.

This past summer I met Obie and his construction company when I needed major repair on my roof. Roszman Roof repaired and replaced my whole roof. They even repaired my garage trellis that was broken due to shoddy work from other roofing companies’ so-called “repairs”. They were fast in completing this problem in less than a week. Their cost was very affordable. Because of their professionalism and the quality of their work I decided to ask Obie if he knew of anyone that could either fix or replace my family room add-on. Over the past year I had been given different ideas and quotes from other companies that I could not afford. Obie come back with a quote $40,000.00, cheaper than my other quotes. He didn’t try to talk me into a “quick fix” but told me the truth – the room needed to be torn down and rebuilt. Not only do I have a beautiful addition but with the money I saved was able to put siding, gutters, etc. on my whole house instead of just the new addition. Obie helped me in the design of my room. He never got upset when I changed my mind on the flooring towards the end of construction. Even though it added many days of extra work on himself and his crew. Roszman Remodeling has many family members working together to complete a company that is affordable, fast, dependable, never tries to “cut-corners”, and should be proud of their amazing work. It was a big relief I never had to be home to make sure something was completed correctly. They knew their job and knew the correct way of doing the project. I would definitely recommend Roszman Remodeling for any job - be it small or large. Because of the horrible contracting companies around my area - my neighbors watched the rebuild from their homes and often commented on their professionalism. This spring I will need to have an “open house” for my neighbors to visit my amazing addition (grin)! Thank you Obie and your company for a home I can live in for many, many years!

Called him once, and left a message. I received no return call. Called again days later and got ahold of him. He said he was "just about to call me" I wanted him to look at, and repair our roof for the winter and give us an estimate on what a new roof will cost in the spring. Said he could show up after 5pm because he was working on my side of town. He hever showed, never called. I called two days later to see if he just got busy, he didn't answer the phone so I left a message and left 2 numbers for him to get a hold of me. once again no return call, no contact. We had the work done with someone else.

Roszman Remodeling was chosen for our new roof and gutters this year. We are more than pleased with the job and the new roof looks wonderful! They were professional, courteous, and fast.
