JR Flooring

We met Joe at the Lumber Liquidators in Perrysburg, OH. He greeted us and helped up pick out hardwood flooring. He told us he was one of the installers and would be happy to come and give us an estimate to install. He did show up an hour+ late to that appointment. He measured the both rooms and told us how much we needed to order and gave us the estimate to install. We decided to go with him and gave him 1/2 of his estimate as a down payment. We went back to LL and ordered the wood. Joe told us that he would make the arrangements to pick up the wood and schedule a time to install it. Didn't hear from either LL or Joe for a long time and after many phone calls. We ordered the wood in late September 2010 and didn't get the one room installed until January 2011. Had to go through LL in order to get Joe to call us back. Joe sent 2 other guys to do the installation. After they started, we were told that 2 outside doors would not work after the floors were installed. Since the doors were steel, we had to order new ones (we were without doors for a hole month in the middle of the winter). Then we were told that there wasn't enough wood to do the other room. We paid an additional amount of money, but not the whole amount since the whole project wasn't complete. We went back to LL and ordered the additional quantity. We picked up that wood ourselves and called Joe and asked for him to come back to install the rest of the project. We left many phone messages and he never returned any of our calls. We finally contacted someone else and had the floors installed and this person did a much better job. I did talk to LL about Joe and they informed me that they were no longer using Joe as an installer. Once we ordered the flooring, it took 11 months to get it all installed.
