"Things change. Our typical turnaround time is 2 weeks, however, this has been the busiest spring we've had which changed AFTER your inspection. Your house is not falling apart, you needed a report for a future remodel. Sometimes other clients have immediate needs that need to be addressed for actual structural issues to save their home. You never reached out to the person that actually did your inspection and was handling the report until last week even though you had their information from the start. We provided you the service you were quoted and it covered everything we discussed on-site, so you didn't pay "$550 for nothing." Sorry, it was not in the originally anticipated timeframe."
"We issued you a full refund for our mishandling of the situation, and we provided you the structural letter you needed to move forward. The pitch cut on the LVL beam is common, and fully capable of handling the minimal attic loads this beam is supporting (not your entire house). The post coming down over a glass block window is fully acceptable with the header that was installed over the window. You did not reach out to the Project Manager one single time about this issue until after this issue was over and dealt with, instead of contacting others with no knowledge of the project. Our track record proves this is not our standard of business."
