We pretty much went in there and told them how it was. We had already done a lot of research ahead of time and had it down to three cars. As I recall they were not too pushy. I told them what car I wanted to buy and how much I was going to pay for it. It was a $1,000 below the stick price, but I told them I would pay two-thirds of it in cash and they said okay. After that I put all kinds of upgrades on it and told them I did not want the price to go up a penny and they said okay. It was a good experience.

They didn't explain this feature when we bought the car. We were in a parking lot and our car lowered on top of the parking barrier. When we backed up, the car wouldn't raise when we were backing up. The front was dislodged from our car due to this feature. We called the general manager, Doug Butt. The service was poor. They took a long time to return calls. Eventually, he returned the calls. His reaction was that he talked down to me. He said it wasn't the company's fault and it was my responsbility.

Note: Cost for this visit was covered by Superior Hyundai's Rewards Program which allows you to use program points for service. Usual costs for service here are quite high compared to others.
Car was dropped off the night before and service was completed by 10am the next day. The visit included a rundown of all the services my 11 yr. old car needed, which ran into several thousand dollars. I declined the extra services.

I could not be happier with the service I received from Superior Hyundai North in Fairfield, OH. I came in for what I thought would be a small adustment and the job turned out to involve a full clutch and flywheel replacement, some of which was part of a Hyundai recall. The job ended up taking several days to complete and Service Advisor Mike Barnett was outstanding in every respect, going out of his way to deal with the situation such that left me with no expenses at all, no nickles, no dimes, no nothing. The dealership even picked up the tab for related repairs that I believe were not part of the recall, as well as the full cost of the rental vehicle during the entire week. This is not the first time I've had work performed by Superior in Fairfield, and they've done excellent work each time, but this particular time left me feeling that I received service above and beyond expectations.

purchased new Sonata in Dec 2008. After agreeing on a price when into the finance person's office to pay cash. He told me the amount, which was more than the base price because of taxes etc, and I wrote him a check. I did not look at the itemized breakdown until got home. Found a $299 charge that I did not understand so I called them. They said it was for gap insurance. I said I did not want that, was never told about that and please refund my $299. They said no problem. Well three months later after they kept stringing me along and basically lying ( I talked to them at least 6 times), I called the factory rep in California. Suddenly they had the check in the mail. These people are dishonest and I will never do business with them again.

We both own and love our Hyundais. We have had Hyundais since 2003, and Superior Hyundai North has done the majority of the work, and they have always been topnotch. The sales people are good too. The last time around, I had a timing belt on a 2004 Hyundai put on and also had other maintenance work done on the car. At the end of December, we bought a brand new car from them. There was nothing wrong with the salesperson. He did a good job; he was patient and did everything right. I am not one who likes to be pressured. The very first time that we bought a Hyundai 2003, we bought from them. We were using another provider, but because we had had a bad experience with the salesperson there, we wound up bringing all of our cars to Superior Hyundai North for service. We have always gotten good service, and they have treated us well. Their price is not bad - I have not found the price to be any different at other places. I have never had an issue with the quality of their work. I would rate them highly and would continue to use them in the future.
