"Thanks for the positive feedback"
"Hey [member name removed] thank you for your great review and im very pleased to know that your floors still look great."
"[member name removed] it was a plearsure working with you, thanks for the positive feedback."
We removed the old carpet as well as the tack from the hardwood floors in 3 rooms and a hallway. We were able to remove most of the staples, but several still remained as well as some sticky tape. We were immediately reassured by Preston Floor Care that they would take care of anything we may have trouble removing. They removed what we were not able to. We also moved the furniture out of each room before they came, but they did offer to help move big items if needed at no extra charge.
The day the work started, they hung plastic to minimize sand mess. Over a 3 day period, they sanded the floors, sealed them, then placed 3 coats of polyurethane down on the first 2 rooms and hallway. They strongly emphasized the importance of
allowing the polyurethane to cure prior to moving furniture back into the room (which was about 3 weeks). We could walk on the floors in socks in the meantime.
Preston Floor Care came back 3 weeks later and completed the last room. Working on the final room, after the second coat of polyurethane was drying (on a very humid day), he noticed it was not quite what he wanted. Instead of trying to do a quick fix, he came back the next day, did a light sand, seal, and several polyurethane coats. I was impressed he took such great pride in his work and my floors reflect it!
We are extremely happy with the outcome and service we received! Highly recommend.
