who is diabetic. He needed a refill on his insulin and we didn't want to stress him with a car ride to the vet.
The visit went great. They came in the house and brought everything needed to do an exam. Mr Booger
(our kitty) was pretty calm through the whole thing and when it was over he laid down and was stress free.
We highly recommend their services.
I was leery of a mobile vet service but my cat was under so much stress I felt I would give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. Dr. Mike arrived at our home promptly. He and his vet tech came inside and got a general feel for the home the cats lived in. They were both professional and friendly and asked intelligent and frankly unexpected questions. My cats are Savannah cats, an uncommon breed and I was impressed when I found Dr. Mike had actually done a little research before arriving at our home.
It was decided I would put the cat in question in her crate and carry her out to the mobile office. I was immediately struck with how clean everything was. Actually cleaner than I have found in the brick and mortar offices of vets I have been to.
My little girl was indeed stressed and did not want to venture out of her crate. That was okay with Dr. Mike and Robin. Working as a team they disassembled the crate all the while comforting my girl. Their touch was magic. As Robin continued soothing my girl Dr. Mike was able to examine her with no problem. Something other vets have not been able to do in the past. Before she even knew what had happened Dr. Mike had finished his exam, given her two injections and the crate was back together and Bell was tucked away in her safety haven - sleeping!
Not having to crate Bellatrix, get in the car, drive to the vets office, sit in the waiting room with dogs and unfamiliar smells was so much easier on her. I will definitely use Mike's Mobile Veterinary Service again. I'm sure my cats will thank me for it.
