He was prompt and knowledgeable. He was honest and seemed to know what he was doing and made intelligent recommendations to me after getting the report back.

Brian was very knowledgeable and thorough in his analysis, explanations, and recommendations. . He fit us in on a very tight schedule and made sure we received our results in time for a committed date. He gave us the informed confidence we needed to move forwarded with our home purchase.

Brian did a very good job. He was very accommodating when it came to scheduling as we were under a time crunch because of a contingency on the possible purchase of the home. He arrived on time and got to work. Unlike other inspectors, Brian has a much fuller array of inspecting detail including termite, thermal imaging, and mold inspection (with secondary lab reporting). In essence, unlike many other inspectors, Brian is one-stop shopping for what you might have to get from several inspectors. He is very professional and great to work with. I was fortunate to have a really good home inspector several years back and could not help but compare Brian to that gentleman. This other inspector did a much better job of explaining the strengths and weaknesses of the home I was buying at the time. The other inspector documented problems right down to a cracked vent (for the dryer) on the exterior of the home. Brian was not as complete. There were a handful of problems like another cracked heater vent, some additional mold not detected near second story attic chimney, and some obvious foundation problems on the front and back porches of the home (which were not included in the report). But, I would not hesitate to recommend him as he includes so many things in his services. His detection of severe mold in the basement (found by the lab he works with) was ultimately the reason we did not purchase the house (very important). He also is unique in that he runs the appliances through a database to check for recalls. Ultimately, I chose Brian because of known issues of leaks in the home, and he was one of the few in this area that does thermal imaging to detect moisture behind the walls. Again, although Brian did not detect some of the smaller things in the house, I felt very secure when he left that I had addressed all major issues within the home we were considering purchasing.

Brian was punctual and very thorough. He explained everything he found and promptly followed up with our inspection report the same day. In the report were detailed descriptions of issues including photos, and recommendations on what actions we should take. As first time home buyers, he really gave us peace of mind about our new home, as well as pointing out some potential issues we wouldn't have known about without him!

What Brian provided went way beyond my expectations. Brian used his thermal imaging camera to look for evidence of leaks in the ceilings and walls in both locations. In the area where there was a leak, he was able to pin point the source, a huge time saver when is came to knocking holes in the wall to get to the source. In the second area, a ceiling, not only did he address the water leak concerns, he also provided us with very useful energy saving tips. The thermal camera made it incredibly clear where we needed additional insulation in our roof.
I wish we had met Brian years ago before we bought our current home. I can only speculate at this time, but had he completed a full house inspection prior to the purchase, I have little doubt he would have save us thousands of dollars in repairs we incurred over the years.

Went great. Brian is very professional and thoughtful. Since I was getting 2 services, I got a discount on the child safety inspection. For the mold inspection not only did he take the samples, but helped me assess for a root cause. For the child safety inspection, he was also very thorough and felt very comfortable going over my home and surroundings with him.
