I have only the highest praise for his work from the design phase through the finishing touches. The addition blends seamlessly with the existing older structure. Ben’s design suggestions brought the various ideas together. The addition of a deck brought the outside in. It came out much better than we had imagined possible. Ben’s flexibility and care for the project showed through the whole effort. Excellent work!

They're excellent. They did an excellent job. They were timely. They were very careful with the house. The men who came to do the work were excellent. I couldn't have asked for two better contractors to have in the house. They're great. I paid for a lot of my stuff.

They were prompt and professional. They came every day on time, and stayed on the job until it was done. While they were here working, they worked. The demolition job was very messy and they put up plastic barriers and cleaned up every day before they left. They had the creativity and expertise to do a few custom things that I wanted. I would definitely hire them again for a small or large project.

Jon, Ben, and the team did an awesome job on our house. They finished the basement with such detail and exceeded our expectations. Quality craftsmanship throughout. They also added a gabled roof over our patio and the integration with the rest of the house is seamless - it doesn't look like it was added on at all. They're extremely honest and do what they say they'll do in the time they commit.

Jon and HB worked with my wife to come up with a design for the tile shower. The design she wanted was complex and he did not charge for discussion of the design even though the pattern was not standard. Work was done with professional care and a big emphasis on keeping the house clean. I wanted to demo the bathroom myself to save money. Jon even worked with me by telling and showing me the best way to demo things. Anything I wanted to do myself to save money Jon was a great help. Jon gave me his contractor price on materials which saved me even more money. I would definitely recommend Jon and HB to anyone who wants a fair price with high quality work done! I was so impressed with Jon and HB he is going to remodel my dads bathroom next.

Jon and his crew from HB Contractor did a phenomenal job, and I've been receiving compliments from friends, family, and neighbors ever since. The landscaping had become severely overgrown, and they brought in a large dumpster which they managed to completely fill with the overgrowth (plus some old items from the house I asked them to remove, which they gladly did!) Each day Jon would keep me apprised of the progress, make suggestions, and ask for my opinion on items he ran into during the job. He was open to expanding the scope of work once on the ground (for example, fixing a leaky outside faucet and installing turn-off valves in the basement for both outside faucets to eliminate potential to freeze during the winter.) I am very pleased with the work they did and would definitely work with them again. After the work was completed, Jon was very responsive when I had to call him to move a few pieces of an enclosure they had built around my furnace exhaust pipe. He stopped by that very day and moved the pieces.

Jon and his team showed up each day on time, readily incorporated additional requests, and performed high-quality work. Jon would make suggestions on various options and alternatives and was very easy to work with and accommodating of my new requests beyond the original scope of work. The new bathroom looks fantastic, and the bedrooms have a professional finish to them now, rather than the tacky, DIY panelling and paint jobs that were there previously when I purchased the home. The porch looks great as well.
