Description of Work: I was told by Auto Zone that I needed my alternator changed. It was late and every auto shop was closed. Fairfield automotive was nice enough to help me out after hours because of the bind I was in. They tested my alternator for me and explained that I didn't need it changed. They could have changed my alternator and I wouldn't have known any better but they were honest and trustworthy and did not want to sell me a service I did not need. If you are looking for a professional and trustworthy business to take your car to, this is it.

 + -1 moreGot back into my car it is the same as when I dropped it off. he quoted me $1100 the first day and then the next day he quoted $1500. I took my car to another place and they told me the price should have been around $600-$800.
Description of Work: I needed my wheel barrings and a motor mount fixed.

 + 0 moreI had gotten an estimate elsewhere for replacing the brakes, and it was nearly $800. I called Fairfield Automotive Service Center, and was treated professionally from the beginning. The appointment was set to meet my schedule, and the work was completed on time. The technician showed me the old parts to see the wear, even though I didn't want them returned. He seemed very interested in gaining my continued business- I even received a thank you card in the mail later!!
Description of Work: Replaced brakes and rotors on a Chevy Avalanche.
