Basement Waterproofing
This company is the best. Our home was built in the 1940's and the basement was useless to us with leaking and musky smell everywhere. Everdry came to our rescue. Since we had the work done to waterproof the basement we have since remodeled and made the basement into a finished lower level which we use when we have company. There is no more musky smell or water leakage. We would highly recommend this company and have done so to may neighbors. They are the best around town.

Basement Waterproofing, Drain Pipe Installation + 1 more
Fine, I came to the house on my lunch break they are very good and quick at digging by hand, most of it done by the time I got there. Only problem I had was the contractor on site was not doing it the way the salesman explained it to me and I agreed on. So I had them redo it the way I wanted and what the contract said. They needed to come back a couple of weeks later to fix a leak due to they couldn't get close enough to the wall the first time. I took out the drywall for them to fix properly. Great job finishing inside and out. No water in Basement it's been 4 years now!!!

Basement Waterproofing
Several months ago we had some water in our basement with the recent torrential rains and noticed some cracks in the poured concrete foundation of our 25 year-old house. I called Everdry primarily because I have heard Gary Sullivan talk about them on the radio and he carries some credibility. I made an appointment and Jeremy Eckstein, a "Foundation Specialist" came to the house and showed up on time (A for Punctuality). It went downhill from there. He inspected the inside of the basement and the outside and said that the problem was much more extensive than I was appreciating. Despite the fact that we have lived in the house for 25 years and only had problems recently in one area, we needed a whole basement solution. He presented 3 options- classic "used car salesman" strategy. The first was to use a backhoe and excavate all around the house disrupting all of the landscaping and sidewalks. The cost, a mere $48,174. I wonder how many of their customers go for this option. The second option was cutting out the perimeter of the basement floor, drilling weep holes in the footer and putting in a sump pump. only $22,764. The third option (and the one that you are directed to) is a "patented" system. I'm not sure how you patent something like this, but I digress. It involves hand excavating outside and doing the second option as well and putting in a ventilation system, despite the fact that in 25 years we have never had high humidity in the basement or mold. That option would be $31,198, but if we acted in the next few days we would get a $1,500 discount. When I looked skeptical, he said that "Bob" had offered that we could have our job done on a basis that would fill time for their crews who weren't busy and the job could be done sooner and at a price that was about 10% less, but that I needed to let him know that day (or the next morning at the latest). I said thank you very much and he left. At that point I looked at reviews of the company on the internet, including Angie's list and found reports of similar high pressure sales tactics, including relentless follow-up calls. Like clockwork, two days later I received a call from the same woman who originally took my information. She said that Jeremy had taken pictures of our job and shown them to someone else at "the warehouse". This other person had seen something in the pictures that made our house eligible for a "different approach that would be a lot less expensive". This exact tactic was reported in a few other reviews. I told her that I had read about their tactics on the internet and that I had no interest in doing business with their company. I asked that they not contact me again. They may well do good work, especially if you need everything done, but I will never deal with a company that employs this sort of sales tactic. I reported these tactics to Mr, Sullivan and he replied that he would look into it. I withheld this review since last year, but I just heard from an acquaintance who just had the same experience. I am left with some skepticism now when it comes to Mr. Sullivan as well.

Ever Dry would not meet with me without my husband. My husband is dead! That is not the way to treat a woman who has been in the business industry for over 40 years. I guess they do not want business. I am writing this review for the unit owner in our condominium association.

Basement Waterproofing
We water leak in behind a finished wall in the basement. Everdry came out and inspected and said we needed to have some major waterproofing done. (I don't doubt that might have been the case...a lot of homes in this area of the same age have developed leaks.) They recommended an $18,000+ fix that, as they promised at the time, would have a lifetime guarantee against any future leaks. They also gave a long description on how they would dig down to the bottom of the foundation on the outside to apply a seal and inspect and they would jackhammer up the basement along the walls to install drains. They described an elaborate "dust collection and mitigation system" that would keep things clean. (More on that lie later.) Everything would take a week or so once it was started. When they showed up (5 months later), they proceeded to tear up the gardens around the house. We were warned they'd "carefully" pull out bushes to dig down to the bottom of the foundation. Well, carefully removed doesn't mean carefully preserved for replanting. I have pictures of rocks piled on top of plants. The workers liked to sit on the small boxwood bushes when they took breaks. The digging also wasn't as promised. They only dug down about 18 inches unless they ran into a crack. Then they followed it deeper until it got too hard. (I've got pictures of that as well.) Inside the house it was a complete fiasco. They tossed plastic over the furniture and SLICED the carpet pull it back in places. (We knew it would be pulled back, but rather than undo TWO SCREWS to roll it back in one area, they just cut the carpet.) Also, it would have been trivially easy to hang plastic sealing from the FINISHED ceiling to create hallways that completely isolated the areas being jackhammered from the rest of the basement (including the home theater, video arcades, and furniture). Instead, they just trusted the plastic thrown loosely over everything and their supposed dust abatement system would take care of everything. Now, about that dust abatement system. It was a shop vacuum with an extra filter with its tube attached to the jackhammer. About 99% useless. The jackhammer -- someone needed to tell them not to put a running jackhammer on the carpet...it cuts right through, but then, what do they care? During all of the drilling, jackhammering, and running of drains, they managed to completely break the window box on our egress window. (They were using the window to pass rock in and out. They guy doing the lifting kept putting the buckets on the window box and it crushed the drywall.) In the end, they did force someone to come back out and repair that damage. In another part of the basement, they torqued a window frame until it wouldn't open and close. (It was stuck open and they tried to hide the opening during the walk through towards the end of the "interior work." The workers also smashed (intentionally) the lid to our sump pump barrel. That lid was required for our radon abatement system. (The lid could have been removed by cutting a bead of silicone, but they broke it because they fully planned to install their own lid -- without the radon system being hooked up. We had to pay the radon company to come replace the lid again.) To inspect the walls in the only unfinished portion of the basement, the workers cut the insulation and left it hanging loose with they finished (yes, it's in a picture below). When the workers finished in the basement, someone got the bright idea to pour water down the walls to clean the dust. That ruined every single baseboard (because they were paperboard). We had been warned the baseboards might get damaged, but that was during their removal. This was due to pure stupidity. After lots of complaints, the company tried to make right on damages they did. They "apologized" for destroying plants by burying them with rocks and/or leaving their bare roots exposed. They promised to pay for the window they jammed open if we got an estimate. (We got the estimate and they said it was too much, so they wouldn't pay.) They promised to pay for the sump lid, but didn't. After I bought new baseboard, they had someone install it. (And, he did a good job.) They repaired the window box that was destroyed and left it for us to paint. They did not, however, repair the hole they put in the carpet or follow through with a promise to have the carpet cleaned where a worker spilled a bowl full of water with caulk in it. We had additional things that were not finished -- I already mentioned the carpet damage. They did not finish putting down the metal "grips" that hold the carpet at doorways. (They installed a temporary one because they "can't find the right one" and they were supposed to fix it when they came to fix the carpet hole (from a jackhammer) and clean out the stain. The vent they installed on the side of the house was not sealed, so ice formed inside the house around it. They made an appointment to fix that, but never showed up. To make up for not paying for the window they jammed open and for the sump lid, they agreed to wave the warranty fees for the number of years it would take to equal the cost I had to pay to have them fixed. We waited months for the paperwork on that, but couldn't even get a call back. (I took a picture of the work order demanding a call from the supervisor.) Speaking of that warranty -- it is supposed to be transferable when you sell the house. You just have to show you've maintained it with the yearly fee. However, it's been over a year and we haven't been able to even find out how to pay the fee! Not to mention the fact that we were supposed to get several (at least) years waved to make up for the out of pocket expenses for the window/sump fiasco. Now that I've waited well over a year (we signed the initial contract in May 2016 and the work was done in Sept 2016) and I can't get them to finish the job. (Vent still leaks, carpet has a hole in it, carpet is stained, nobody will confirm that compensation was made in the form of waving warranty fees.) So, I'm finally posting a review. I could go on for several more pages with problems, but I think you get the point by now. The big takeaways for you are: - Don't let them leave without finishing everything (great goal, but not practical since the work is spread over a week or more with followup work a month later) - Don't fall for the story about "great dust control" and some magical dust abatement/collection system -- it's a shop vac. 90% of the dust could have been controlled if they had taken 15 minutes to attach plastic to the ceiling and make "tunnels" along the walls. - Get everything in writing at the time of the promise -- if they promise to compensate for something, get it written down.

Basement Waterproofing
I requested a meeting to review my waterproofing requirements and within 24 hours received a call from their CSRs. We setup an evening appointment as one of the requirements is to have both household members present (if applicable). The salesman that showed up was prompt, went through a full presentation, conducted a mold test, evaluated the space/job, and went over my 3 options to complete the job. The presentation was informative. The mold test left a lot to be desired and the results were never provided. The job evaluation went as expected; similar to the other 2 groups i engaged for the project. Overall it's worth having them stop by, but be prepared for these two items that I found to be displeasing. First, the hard sell. They expect you to sign that day before they leave. I'm in sales and understand the approach, but the passive aggressive behavior was a little much for my liking. Second was the price. They were more than double what the other companies put on the table. Their argument is they're doing some extra work which in their patented approach there is some extra work. In my case, the money didn't come close to the value received. Their patented system could only be deployed on 1.5 of my outside walls (due to obstructions on the others). No price reduction. Second, their system claims to go down 3.5 feet lowering the water table. Most systems go down at least 2.5 feet to 3 feet. Finally what rubbed me the wrong way was their drastic price reduction attempt calling it scheduling flexibility. Honestly, that number is where we should have started the negotiations for the system. Long story long, they're worth talking to and may be a better fit if you have foundation and water seepage issues. Don't let the aggressive sales approach keep you from doing your homework. For me, it was cost vs value and we just couldn't get the two to level out.

I had Everdry come out in March 2017. Still had some leaking several weeks later, which I went over in detail with one of their inspectors. Had a second visit for repairs in June 2017. STILL have water pouring in my basement in FOUR locations. For $17,000. Till this gets fixed for real, my review is negative five stars!

The work was done in March of 2017 and here it is June and I still have water coming in. The process goes like this, you call and inform them that you are still having issues. They put you on hold for 10-20 minutes until you are connected with the service department. The service department then informs you that they need to send out an inspector. They schedule that appointment several weeks later. The inspector comes and says we can do this, we can fix that...but all he does is schedules a "service" appointment.....30 DAYS LATER. Today was scheduled to be the 6th visit to my home from them, also the 6th time I have had to take off work. They gave me a window of 1-3pm. At 12:30pm they called to tell me they can't make it and will have to reschedule for next week. I had an appointment with a manager scheduled for June 14th, he never showed or even called.

It was certainly messy just to do that type of work. But it went well. I'm really glad I had the work done. There has been some small things that have needed to be taken. Are of since but they are very responsive and have always taken care of everything at no additional cost to my satisfaction.

I have no other option than to use this provider because of the insurance. So you have to pay them every year $75 on top of the work that they did. I should have done a little more homework before calling them. There are other companies that do the same work as what they did. It was like 40% less and they don't require warranty fees. I have a few friends at work that got the waterproofing done through them and they pay for $35. If I do not renew my warranty for $75 each year then they will not come out because it won't be covered. I think that is a bad strategy in this competitive market.

It went very good. They had to dig on the outside of the house as well as the inside. They dug trenches and put new grass seed in. I thought it went well overall.

Guy showed up over half an hour late to give us an estimate and didn't even bother to apologize. He looked around the house but seemed disinterested in actually gathering any information. He then sat us down and gave us a VERY canned presentation on their recommended options. It was the most boring and tedious thing I have ever experienced. It was like he was reading straight from a script. We didn't want to sign a contract that day because we wanted other estimates. He then offered to discount the price (amazing what flexibility they have). We still didn't sign. 3-4 times a day, every day for the next two months, EverDry called me to try to get me to hire them. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. This was the most annoying and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in my life and I wouldn't hire them if my basement were under 10 feet of water!

I've been waiting a while to write this review because - I keep having to have them come back, and honestly, I've been afraid to be honest since we still have these charlatans in our home. The initial work was done in November of 2014, and here it is July of 2016 and we are still having them out at our home re-doing work for ... I've honestly lost count of how many times. At one point, we called them to repair leaks in our basement, and when they left - they left us with a can of sealant in case we saw any additional leaks (so we could take care of it ourselves I guess) - I wish I was making that up. At this point, I'm waiting for some celebrity to jump out of the bushes because I'm on some ridiculous prank show. When you decide to have a project like this done - you accept certain things like: you're going to lose functionality of your basement while the work is being done/cement drying; they're going to have to dig around the outside of the house - so you're probably going to have to re-landscape your yard; and it's going to cost. But you don't expect to have to lose that basement functionality for 2 years, or to have to re-landscape MULTIPLE times because the crew that you hired is incompetent ( you went with a more expensive company because of that whole "you get what you pay for" thing) . And the service managers we've dealt with? Have done absolutely NOTHING to make us feel like they give a single (edited for propriety) *care about us as a paying customer. They offered us $150 discount on the INSURANCE (a monthly-paid service agreement) for our troubles. On a job that cost OVER $10,000. I could get more back by paying w/ a Capitol One credit card according to Samuel L Jackson. Please - just don't make the same mistake we made. Vet out another company to do the work - don't use Neverdry.
