trash pickup for most part was fine. had a bad time in July 2013 - went over two weeks without service which is very bad in July heat. Now again in Jan 2014 no service for 3 weeks. I do understand about bad weather impacting timing, but when pickup was missed due to weather, it took 3 emails (totally useless) and 3 phone calls to finally get a pick up 10 days later. Then the following week they missed the pickup again - weather was fair and sunny no rain and no snow. When i emailed and called to get it picked up, I just got the run around again. By email they ask you about 10 questions aboout did you set out your trash correctly - really ridiculous when my original email had all the details and the information from the last two weeks communication trying to get a pickup.By phone, again it was start all over - they have to research before doing anything and then it takes another day or two to get a pick up. ENOUGH! So I fired them.

Details... Trash picked up on time and with no problems. My husband has even talked to them and says they are nice and professional. But the recycle group has issues. We have had WM for a year now and to avoid confusion, we put the trash can (theirs) on one side of the driveway and the recycle (our black trash can and their small green container) on the other side. We usually put the green can on top of the black trash can to hold things in better and also to signify that this is all recycle. Last week we put the trash and recycle out on Tuesday night for Wednesday pick up. The trash service came and went but the recycle remained. My husband called and we were told it would be picked up the next day, so we left it. We called again Thursday and was again told they would get it the next day. Friday when it was not picked up again my husband was quite angry. We were told this time it to put it out Tuesday since Monday was Memorial day. So, we did and still they did not get it. We brought the recycle in around 5:30 Tuesday after we picked it up from where it had blown all over. ( Each of the previous days it had blown all over too.) We put it out again yesterday with the regular trash too. and recycle was skipped. My husband called. I called. I was told recycle guys said it was not out. I told the person, Bethany, that either they went to the wrong house or they lied. She was actually not very nice. A bit argumentative. The other customer service reps I had spoke with were ok. Bethany said they were probably confused because we had the recycle in a black trash can. I said we've done it this way for a year and the green container they provide is right with it. She said something about me labeling the trash can. I told her I put a sign on it saying this is recycle. She said well you can't expect them to get out of the truck to read the sign. So, basically... she was defending them no matter what. We used to do our own recycle runs but thought this would be much easier. And it is when it works right. I hope whatever their staffing issues are will get straightened out soon or we'll be quitting. So, for right now... we'll continue but I'm not sure at this point for how long. It's 4:45 now. Raining. Husband just picked up the papers that had blown all over again. We were told to give them until 6pm today.

I have not had my trash picked up since 05/10/11 but I recieved a bill recently. I called them and they said it does not show my service was ever cancelled. I said said well fine and I was reading my bill and noticed that I had paid 3 months in advance but no trash has been picked up? I said well then are you going to send me a refund for the $75 I paid in advance. The lady I was speaking to said no that is not our policy.
