The Pit Stop

I have been seeing him for ten years.  He is a funny good mechanic, you hold on to him at that point.  He is an honest mechanic. I don't believe in cheap mechanic because cheap means you don't get the job done right.  He is fair.  He is a very friendly guy and very trustworthy.  I have called him out of state before when I had problem with the vehicle so I could get a good idea of what the breakdown was and how much it would cost because I've had mechanics that were there knowing that I was on vacation to Washington DC...they said it would be a $250 to $350 repair but the person will hit me with a $1000.  The oil change took about thirty minutes and he does all the lube points, put air on the tires and fills up all the fluids.

True to his word. I had the Front-end seals changed on my 02 Yukon back in Aug 2011. 9 months later while Mike was changing my oil he noticed a leak from the front end again and asked me to bring the vehicle back in and he would change out the parts free of charge. He went to a different parts supplier and changed out the parts and asked me to keep an eye out for leaks. Sure enough the were more grease spots in my driveway, Mike was baffled and wanted to look the vehicle over again real good, he called me up and said the drain plug was leaking and took care of needed fluids and cleaned the underside of the vehicle. When I left he asked me about the Grease spots in my driveway and gave me a gallon of cleaner. Great Service, Good Mechanic at Fair Prices. It is hard to find a good mechanic you can trust, I've have used Mikes services for over 7 years (at his own shop and another shop where he was the lead mechanic) after being ripped off on several occasions by both small shops and the dealers. I have also sent friends to him and they told me he saved them hundreds, like I said a good mechanic at fair prices, can't ask for too much more.
