This was a horrible experience. It was supposed to be a two day move - one day to pack and stage the furniture and one day to do the actual move. They never showed up the first day. Calls to them roll immediately to voicemail. I received a call later that day saying not to worry hat they can get it all done in one day. Day 2 they were supposed to arrive first thing in the morning but don't show up until the afternoon. When they show up it is only with one truck instead of the two I contracted for. Plus the truck lift kept breaking so they had to keep stopping to go to the store to get parts. But at 9:30 pm it broke again, no store was open for parts, so they all went home with the truck was left overnight in my driveway. The next day (now Day 3) they show up about 2:30. By then I had moved most of my boxes and furniture my self in a pickup truck so they could finish with the one broken truck that they had. This was truly a stressful moving nightmare.

It has been a fiasco. The Roadrunner movers were supposed to show up between 12 and 4 pm on May 10, 2014.  They called at 11:45 on May 10th and said two of the 3 movers called in sick that day, so only 1 guy showed up.   This one mover, moved a $650 piece of glass table top furniture I had into the moving truck.  I had no more got into my house when I heard this mover use profanity and then I heard a loud crash.  My table top was destroyed into hundreds of pieces.  I have been trying to have Roadrunner reimburse or replace this broken glass table top ever since, but all I get is the run around from them.  They initially said they wanted to stop out to see if they can fix the table top, but I kindly informed them the glass was in hundreds of pieces.  They then said they would stop out on May 23, 2014 to make things right but nobody showed up.  They no longer pick up or return my phone calls, I assume because they have caller ID.  On May 28, 2014 John Robertson, claims administrator for Roadrunner sent me an email that stated: “I’m very sorry to hear our services were not performed to your satisfaction.  I’m happy to communicate that Roadrunner will provide a full reimbursement for the broken glass table.” He went so far as to say I can call or email to confirm this process.  I did both but it is now June 10, 2014 and I still have yet to hear anything from John or Roadrunner Relocation Services.  At this point I just need to be reimbursed the $650 and all would be done.  Overall, I do not recommend anyone use Roadrunner Relocation Services.

This moving company was so helpful during a stressful move with my daughter.  We had to change the date and time at the last minute.  I called them and asked for suggestions and they said they could come immediately.  The crew showed up on time, were very professional and didn't scratch or break a thing.  Since at the last minute the house wasn't ready to be moved into, they were very helpful in letting us keep the furniture on the truck for a day until we figured out what to do on the next day.  Kevin was great to deal with and the guys who actually did the move were very hard working.  I would definitely use them again if I had to move.
